Return to an apocalyptic Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash Action Adventure where players assume the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The most enigmatic of the Four Horsemen, FURY must bring balance to the forces that now ravage Earth.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Darksiders 3 6 / 10 (regular/average, I recommend it for players that like hack and slash games, but ONLY buying it with a BIG discount). [Game completed on Apocalyptic] The Positive: * Good voice acting; * Fury is a good character. She has mediocre development but is badass and beautiful. It’s cool to see her smashing enemies; * The classic gameplay mode (not the soulslike one) is good, with some fun boss battles; * Good performance and stability. The Neutral: * With the exception of Fury, it has mediocre characters; * Mediocre graphics and art direction even for a 2018 game; * Mediocre story; * Mediocre soundtrack and sound in effects and ambience; * Mediocre exploration and discovery; * Mediocre diversity of enemies; * I like soulslike games, but this mode doesn't fit at all with this franchise. The Apocalyptic difficulty is great but only with the classic mode (‘‘hack and slash mode’’). I put it on the neutral part of this review, not negative, because we have the option to change it. The Negative: * Very poor customization for ‘’builds’’ and gameplay style. The game gives different tools and ways for fighting, but these are poor in quantity and variety; * It’s a shame that the game does not have a good variety of armours and outfits for Fury. She could have more types of armor that could turn her into even more badass, mechanically and fashionly. CONCLUSION: * Darksiders 3 is a regular/average game. It was worth my time because I like hack and slash games and I liked the protagonist. It was worth my money because I got a big discount.

Great game with Identity Crisis.... Darksiders 3 is a confusing game. A sequel of a Hack and slash RPG now turn into a "Souls-lite"slop. By any means, its not a Bad Game. Its just a Badly executed game, its as if the game doesn't commited to its own genre. The Classic Gameplay is a way to go, since by Default it feels more like an Experimental Mode that felt unfinished. The Whole Souls-lite changes are also lazy, its basicly just "Make Fury weak as F**k, and make every single enemy hits like a Truck." And then they just call it "Hmm...that's Souls-like, alright." Pros : Bossess are varied now, which is awesome. I love each and every single Seven deadly sins, they are all well designed and unique to one another. Atmosphere is similiar to Darksiders 1, much more darker and realistic tone than Darksiders 2. Although, unlike Darksiders 1, the post-apocalyptic world is now much more beautiful and detail. Magic based abilities are visually beautiful, I love Fury's hair changes depends on what Magic you equip. Fury as a character is also cool, her design is badass and her voice actress is amazing. CONS: Darksiders Game, yet you move like a Souls-like character. Its a mixbaged between Janky stiff and fluid like hack and slash character. Confusing af. The Secondary weapons are uninspired, was expecting more unique variety(the chains were cool tho). No Map, what? No Horses, WHY?! No stat based weapons, like...wtf? The fact that they get rid Mounted Horse because its supposed to be a Souls-like is baffling. Then in Elden Ring, they add a Mounted combat...in a Souls-like genre. Even a Map, in a Souls-like Game. Guess who's laughing now? Darksiders 3 is a Lesson, just because Souls-like were booming and popular, doesn't mean you have to copy it and apply it into your niche franchise. 6/10, Play it on classic mode.
From a slow and awkward start, Darksiders III proves to be the most different one from the trilogy.
Drinking from a souls formula, it offers slower paced combat where you need to be more strategic and thoughtful. For souls fans, the combat here may feel good, but not as polished as some other dark souls games. Darksiders III is really weak when it comes to puzzles, since there's only a few in the game.
The story is where this game lacks the most.
It goes into a totally different route, where you start talking with the council in front of War. This scene may feel a bit disconnected from the story that has been told before, specially because we don't see this scene in the first game when War is being judged by the Council. From that, the start of the game is really weak. After killing the first four enemies in the game, you'll need to face the first boss, which is not a very common thing to see in good level designs. Usually there is a breathe room for players to get used to the commands before facing any challenge. And this is another weak point of this game. There's very little challenge, and sometimes this makes the cut scenes feel weird, since they promise so much, and it only takes you one minute to kill the boss.
Lack of sense
Darksiders III will many times show things that makes no sense at all. In one of the weirdest boss battles (against Wrath), you may be stomping the boss, but when the cut scene starts, he is destroying you, and for some weird reason, you call your horse to the fight, IN THE MIDDLE OF A CAVE?!?! That makes no sense at all and if not for the gameplay, this would be enough to drop the game. And strange enough, there's never a conclusion to that story.
Strenghts
The game may feel disconnected and shallow, but there's lots of good things about it as well. The introduction of human survivors in this game gives Fury and the player a purpose. Now you don't want only power, you want to help humanity, even if at the start Fury wants to know nothing about them. The different abilities that Fury gains throughout the game gives you enough gameplay diversity as well, something that I did miss in the first two titles. Last but not least, Fury is a very interesting character. She is probably the smartest of them all, since she already knows many of the enemies and knows what to do. She doesn't go around asking for tips like War and Death. Story apart, this game is probably my favourite due to the fun factor. It is strange, but stick to it and you'll probably like it :)
