Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Not bad. It's a vampire themed stealth game like a B movie vampire metal gear(stealth mission wise)? Fun way to pass the time and enjoy the 'stealth challenge'.
DARK, developed by Realmforge Studios and published by Kalypso Media Digital, is a stealth-action role-playing game that attempts to blend the seductive mystique of vampire lore with the tension and strategy of stealth gameplay. Set in a futuristic neo-noir city filled with corruption, blood, and shadow, the game follows Eric Bane, a recently turned vampire who awakens with fragmented memories and a curse that threatens to strip him of his humanity. To survive, Eric must hunt and feed on powerful elder vampires while uncovering the truth behind his transformation. The premise holds promise—a dark, stylish descent into the world of the undead where supernatural powers replace guns and brute force—but the execution falters in almost every department. What could have been a sleek, atmospheric stealth experience instead becomes a frustrating struggle against clumsy design and squandered potential. The game immediately sets its tone with its visual presentation. Using a cel-shaded art style, DARK tries to emulate the aesthetic of a graphic novel, bathing its environments in deep purples, blues, and neon glows. At first glance, the effect is appealing and distinctive, creating a mood that fits the nocturnal world it portrays. Unfortunately, this promise fades quickly as the environments reveal themselves to be repetitive and sparsely detailed. Every club, museum, or corporate office feels eerily similar, with limited interaction and lifeless design. The character animations are stiff, the lighting inconsistent, and the sense of atmosphere that should envelop a vampire game is undermined by technical shortcomings. Instead of feeling immersed in a rich, predatory world, the player often feels detached from it, navigating sterile corridors that fail to evoke either dread or wonder. At the heart of DARK lies its stealth system, which theoretically serves as the game’s backbone. The player is encouraged to stalk enemies, use cover, and employ Eric’s vampiric abilities to bypass or eliminate threats. Abilities such as Shadow Leap—allowing instant teleportation between vantage points—and vampiric senses that reveal enemy positions are clever ideas in principle. When these mechanics work in tandem, they create moments of fleeting excitement, such as chaining silent kills or evading detection through supernatural agility. Unfortunately, the system is plagued by unpolished controls and erratic artificial intelligence. Enemies often behave inconsistently, sometimes ignoring obvious sounds and at other times spotting the player through walls. The cover mechanics are unreliable, with Eric occasionally refusing to move or leap where intended, resulting in awkward deaths and repeated retries. These technical issues rob the game of its intended stealth thrill, replacing calculated strategy with trial-and-error frustration. The combat, when stealth inevitably fails, is even less satisfying. Eric is far too fragile to survive direct encounters, and the melee attacks feel sluggish and imprecise. Rather than empowering the player, the vampire powers feel restrictive due to cooldowns and limited energy reserves that must be replenished by feeding on enemies—a risky and time-consuming act. This design choice theoretically builds tension, but in practice it becomes tedious, forcing the player to replay long sections after small mistakes. Checkpoints are infrequent, which exacerbates the problem. Combined with monotonous level design and predictable enemy placement, the gameplay loop begins to feel like a chore long before the halfway point. Narratively, DARK aspires to deliver a brooding, mature story about identity, immortality, and the moral cost of survival, but the writing never rises above the level of cliché. Eric Bane is a blank slate of a protagonist—brooding, stoic, and ultimately unremarkable. His dialogue is delivered in a monotone, and the supporting cast fares no better, with wooden voice acting and uninspired characterization throughout. The script is filled with exposition dumps and forgettable one-liners that fail to give emotional weight to Eric’s journey. The story’s pacing also suffers from uneven mission structure and forced stealth sequences that add little to the overarching narrative. Despite the potential for moral complexity—should a vampire embrace his hunger or resist it?—the game reduces these ideas to basic fetch quests and shallow dialogue. While the game’s flaws are numerous, it would be unfair to dismiss its ambitions entirely. The concept of a vampire stealth game remains a compelling one, and moments of genuine creativity do occasionally shine through. The progression system, which allows players to unlock new abilities as they feed and gain experience, hints at what could have been a more engaging experience. The ability to manipulate shadows, teleport between vantage points, and tactically dispatch enemies shows flashes of inspiration that, if refined, could have made DARK a cult classic rather than a disappointment. Unfortunately, these glimpses of brilliance are buried under repetitive structure and unrefined execution. Ultimately, DARK is a game that fails to live up to its own intriguing premise. It offers the fantasy of becoming a creature of the night but rarely delivers the sensation of power, grace, or terror that such a role should evoke. Instead, it is hampered by technical flaws, clumsy mechanics, and uninspired storytelling that turn what could have been an immersive experience into a slog. Beneath its surface lies an idea that deserved better—a game that could have captured the essence of being a vampire in a hostile world, where every shadow is both a refuge and a threat. As it stands, DARK remains a cautionary tale of wasted potential, a reminder that strong ideas alone cannot sustain a game without careful design, polished execution, and a clear sense of identity. Rating: 5/10
The original storyline was awesome! Although. the DLC was more of a lame "Ho-hum" ... Still balanced
