Reviews
Every time I decide to play this again, I keep underestimating what an unpolished floaty janky goofy piece of garbage this game is compared to literally every other Souls game.
Great game, fun connected world, never could understand why people were so down on this entry into the series.

Game so good I could cry DO NOT LET THE HATERS LIE TO YOU
Dark Souls 2 is significantly better than I expected. I've heard from so many people that Dark Souls 2 is the worst in the series... I disagree. I REALLY disagree. I still think Dark Souls 3 is the best Dark Souls game, however 2 is by far a better experience than 1 for me. I actually liked the locations and boss fights in this. Are they perfect? No, far from it. I think The Gutter and Black Gulch are stinkers (literally and figuratively). Also having to level Adaptability for better I-Frames is silly, but I can look past it. The music is really good, Majula is the best hub in the series. Idk, I loved it!
Overall just a bad game. The only reason I keep/kept on playing is because I want(ed) to complete the series, even though the game annoys the hell out of me at times. Good thing it has some good moments too. Glad to see they learned a lot from it, which shows in following games.
I've tried many times to get into Dark Souls 2 and every time It let's me down. Amazing world and fun characters. But this game has some of the most awful enemy placements and most egregious runbacks to FromSoft date. The gameplay is slow and clunky. Drinking or consuming items will stop you dead in your tracks. Enemies will have long windups or awkward animations that make learning patterns a snore and frustrating. Bosses suffer the same boring gameplay with longer time to practice and improve because the designers thought you need to clear an entire area just to get back to the fight, which probably left you out of most supplies to properly tackle the boss and the funniest part? This slow, clunky, painful gameplay can all be slightly fixed by leveling up your adp. Actual poo game design to make what was once something you practiced and got better at into a numbers game and makes me waste souls that could've gone to making the game experience better by leveling up stats that actually matter. This games difficulty is frustrating to play with and not fun to master in the slightest. I don't think I'll ever be able to finish it nor understand where the love from this game comes from.
Peak SOULS 2
👍 Recomendado Com 248 horas de jogo e 100% das conquistas desbloqueadas, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin acabou me proporcionando uma experiência muito melhor do que eu esperava.
Best dark sousl game This is a fact and people cant seem to accept it
