Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 9.14/day in the week to Sep 9 → 26/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Si fueras a desaparecer mañana mismo, nada cambiaría."

Okay finished first chapter, I REALLY dislike the trial system, good idea obviously, but they introduce evidence you know and is obvious, it takes SO long. And the stupid hangman's gambit, you have to get the letters in order, WHY? That's not how that mini game is played!! The time bullet is also meh and actually annoyed me and couldn't understand it at first! The comic is also meh, I usually like when you put the sequence of events in games, didn't care too much for it here, it felt like after you have introduced all the evidence and everything is clear, more of a reptation honestly. Okay, I HATE Time bullet with a passion, SO annoying, especially when they hide the interaction dot, I'd rather they just raise the temp to infinite over that, incredibly frustrating. - Loading bullets from other people is SO RANDOM, like you know what to say, but the game wants you to do it a very specific way, which becomes very frustrating. Easy solution would have been to have no bullets, then you would know that you need to load from another statement. - ONLY you give evidence, even if it was actually someone else that told you that the first place, I know the game wants you to engage with the trial, but it's quite silly. It's like they are saying 'hey, remember the thing I told you before and is very important to mention now, yeah, YOU say it now' WHY? - The time and hearts are literally useless, you can just retry as soon as you lose all time or hearts and the game would have you retry from where you failed even on hardest difficulty !! - The game KEEPS resetting the sound and music volume EVERY time I launch it, OMG, and it is so loud I have to mute and fix it lol. All the motive for now is: I want to escape, which is fine but very basic + I don't feel it is a strong motive to start killing 3-ish days in rofl, who reaches their breaking point that fast?! No one has a dark secret or something juicy unfortunately. (Edit: a couple of them did ig) Like the DVDs should have had that, and not just what they show you, NOT that interesting to me, I barely know these characters to care about their families or connect to them, feel sorry, etc. For now, not very sold on it, don't get me wrong, it actually hooked me with the murder mystery and whodunit, I love these things, and even though it's a visual novel, which I don't normally play, I am actually enjoying it and reading all lines, but a lot of the other things are questionable let's say, I'll hopefully see if I finish it, and see if I change my mind. Ultimately,
I REALLY hated a few characters, and most of them are just over the top, exaggerated to annoying limits. Toko is the most annoying, nonsensical character I have ever seen in a video game, they spent two years together and no one noticed a psychopathic killer, and you can see in a photo she was transformed, no one noticed, sure + her vulgarity is VERY off-putting to say the least, very out of place and disgusting comments. Really just skipped most of her dialogue, I hate how writers use characters to say perverted things, and make a female say them, cause no ones gonna say something to that, right? Ugh. Junko's multiple characters are SO obnoxious, ruined the revelation honestly, just making her smart, calculated, cold, etc with her lines and a good voice would have been a million times better. Yasuhiro is too stupid it's not even funny or whatever they were going for with his character. The rest are mostly not memorable. Also, It didn't help with not getting to know them more before they were killed, you didn't care about them. Some cases were way too obvious, made well, but were a bit too obvious to me personally especially 3rd and 4th, even the first had that way too obvious clue, I do watch a lot of crime TV series lol :p Some decisions are silly and go against literally normal human behavior and common sense, in 2nd case, stupid Byakuya messes with the crime scene to make things interesting, when literally his life and everyone else is on the line 🤡 Final revelation is good, it does sting a little that they didn't have to kill each other, I know it adds to the despair theme tremendously, but it feels empty to me.
HOW have I not reviewed this game yet?! Okay, I'm just going to start off with the fact that this is my 2nd favorite game I've ever played. The music and characters are AMAZING, even though this game is pretty old. Even after finishing the other Danganronpa games, this one continues to be my favorite out of the whole series. The ending is great, and the humor is pretty funny too. All in all, GET THIS GAME.
