In 2455 AD, Kage Mishima used the magical powers of Daikatana, the most powerful sword ever forged, to alter time and establish himself as supreme dictator. You are Hiro Miyamoto, one of the few people on earth who knows what happened.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
(Não vou me matar.)

Broken azz game
Do you own Daikatana? I own Daikatana. You know who else knows Daikatana? Daikatana. Every so often out of the probably thousand of games i own by this point i sit down and write reviews of the ones i mostly fondly remember, whichever its easiest to talk about, or endlessly criticize a game. Ive gotten more personal with the way i write these reviews, part of it is that i also play a lot less games, and if i do its games i played before. Anyhow with that out of the way, i have not played the original Daikatana, ever, i have only ever modded the game and i think that is the way it should be played. This game absolutely rocks. Yeah its that '♥♥♥♥' game everyone on youtube knows about but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ actually playing it is super cool. There is ton of variety with weapons, levels are visually varied, you get 2 meatshields that will at some points in the game shoot the enemy and kill them for you, the story exists and its just fun. Its one of the more standout games i own, i mean its THAT game and it also happens to be very fun. Obviously when it comes to talking about games you are kind of expected to do the same thing over and over and- Screw that you buy yourself this game, get the unnoficial patch, turn on like invincible allies so you do not babysit them and just blast some enemies, its going to feel like any other classic shooter you oughta be familiar with and its got no complaints from me. Like i feel sad for anyone ripped off in 2000's but its 2026 like you can actually play this game than listen to yet another person on the internet telling you its bad.
$1.50 on a Steam Sale and thought to give it a try after all the insane history behind it. Episode 1 really drags this game down ALOT, it's about 4-5 hours of confusing level design, loud noises, repetitive enemies, impractical weapons (mainly any explosives since their radius is massive, killing yourself more than enemies), Friendly AI getting stuck on stairs and just in general getting stuck on anything with an edge or slope which after clearing a level it feels like you're baby sitting the AI trying to move them out and this is even with the unofficial patch, each level looking dark green / metal which visually hurts the eyes after a while and just in general very poorly designed in all places. If there is 1 positive, it's the player movement. It's incredibly smooth, responsive and also satisfying at times to the point where there still is a deathmatch community till this day due to how perfect the movement feels and if this was a purely multiplayer focused game then that would've been a massive highlight. Episode 2 AKA Greece is really well done, the entire level design is very Quake like where it's easy to navigate with secrets that take a little effort to find, weapons feel creative, environments look very pretty and visually well done for 2000s game and taking place in Ancient Greece was something not really seen at the time so it's a perfect location for a shooter. I honestly feel if this was Episode 1 then reviews would've been much much better. However despite being mixed, no matter how good or bad an episode is, all of them suffer from broken friendly AI pathing which completely stop you from progressing the game entirely and if they are stuck to the point where you can't get them out then you'll need to load your last save to one where they weren't stuck and it just really ruins the experience entirely, which made me stop playing. I understand what they were going for though, trying to break the formula at the time where it's a single player going through an entire game focusing on their own resources and skills to survive where as here they tried to have AI partners you'll need to watch their health, weapons, basically an escort quest as an entire game and sadly it just didn't work out at all.
game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ racist lol

This one is a true Masterpiece, IGN.
Yeah, it's not really a great game. Everything they say online is true - skip it.
