Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Lost a lot of the good things about the first game. It's not even nearly the same. this iteration pales in comparison to the exhilarating combat and high speed movement of the first game. The reduction from full size mechs to much less impressive exosuits was undesirable at the very least. I would have much preferred a DLC for the original than whatever this is.

I'm giving this a negative rating, despite enjoying the gameplay loop quite a bit. The story and dialogue are some of worst I've ever lived through in a game that takes it self super seriously. Nearly every cutscene in the game, I yelled at my TV because how absolutely dumb the characters are. There are many parts of the story where the intention of somebody or the upcoming situation is obvious to the player, but the characters will act like they have no idea what is going on. They also do annoying stuff like develop characters only after they die and have the idiotic trope that when a enemy character dies, that their intentions where not actually bad in the first place. Are we supposed to feel sorry for them? Despite them murdering innocent people and colluding to commit genocide? Man, I'm getting angry at this game just writing this review. I was planning to finish the story, but what I think is the final leg was the dumbest part so far and I just couldn't continue. Solid 7/10 if you don't read the dialogue or care that this game has a story tho
The game is good but has multiple problems, the story is all over the place and is rushed with nothing making stick, gameplay is great, endgame content doesn't exist and its only loot grind, the secret boss TAKES 8 REAL HOURS TO GET TO, character development is horrible, only one part of the story you can spare someone but you cant with others which affects a side mission but you cant with others? The Game feels like its a war with New Devs VS Old Devs.
I really like the game but its understandable why many didnt. The combat is slower in general compared to the first game, but the biggest thing is that this game doesnt actually have mechs. They're exosuits which just appeals to a completely different audience.
I really want to like this game. There are definitely moments where I had fun and enjoyed the armor mechanic for different weapon types, and the customization for the suits. However. The game has some major jank. The camera gets stuck at an odd angle all the time while locked on to enemies, locking on to enemy weak points is an absolute chore, and enemies become damage sponges later on in the game. The game isn't difficult per se, but there's definitely a struggle to kill things efficiently without just resorting to melee weapons because nothing has enough punch or ammo to last through extended engagements. The armored suit, while cool, is nothing compared to the mech of the previous game, and even though they try to remedy that a little with the heavy armor call in, it's extremely limited when all your movement and attacks drain your health and it lacks any customization for it outside of three presets. The story is also absolute trash anime cringe, and I found myself uninterested in the characters outside of a few of the Neun that some interesting back stories. The main big bads, the Trinitas, are background characters and could have just not existed. Finally, there's the item drop system, which means you'll end up fighting bosses over and over to get an item they drop, only to have to keep grinding because there's a randomized stat spread (E to A) that can completely ruin the parts you get or have to craft by again, grinding the bosses for their materials. And you will only get one piece of loot every time, and it isn't guaranteed to happen for non-human enemies. Money isn't hard to come by, but it's an absolute slog to try and get your preferred weapon, armor, and slot items in the configuration you want, to the point that downloading a mod to either increase drop rates or put all the gear stats to all A's to actually have proper differences between armor types. I want more DxM, I want cool mech stuff, but this just isn't it man. They tried to make it more personal somehow crossed with open world shenanigans and it just doesn't work.

Plays like a better Anthem with a good anime story. Nice enough game! I wouldn't pay 70 Euros for it, because that's too expensive for almost any game, but on a decent discount, yeah, it's good. :)
Mediocre at best. Actively annoying at worst. Worse: The more annoying parts don't come up until well after you're out of the steam refund window. So by the time you get frustrated with the poorly designed boss fights and reused assets from the first game you won't even be able to get your money back. Look elsewhere. Go play Armored Core again instead.
