Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I received this game as part of the Humble Choice and somehow still feel ripped off. How can a game look so bad and still run like complete garbage... It feels like the devs went into this with a lot of passion and great ideas but unfortunately birthed an abomination. Everything from the controls (especially m/kb) to the UI feels bad and clunky to use. I'm unsure if the music was intentionally popping and crackling or if that is also just broken. the voice acting and facial animations genuinely reminds me of PS2 games like Jak and Daxter. Hell even the male main character sounds so similar to Nerve I couldn't tell who was talking... I can't think of any redeeming quality that would make me want give this game a chance.
Daemon X Machina: Armored Core if it was mid Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion: Anthem if it was actually good

If you’re here for a mech game that feels good to play, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion actually delivers… until everything else starts dragging it down. Let’s get this straight: the gameplay loop is solid ⚙️🔥 Movement is fast, responsive, and hits that perfect arcade-meets-tactical balance. Flying, boosting, locking targets, unloading volleys — it all clicks. Weapons feel impactful, builds matter, and when combat flows, it’s honestly great. Customization is easily the best part 🛠️ You can tweak your Arsenal like crazy — weapons, armor, attachments — and it actually changes how you play. Glass cannon? Tank? Hybrid? All viable. This is where the game shines. Progression starts strong 📈 Early game gives you that dopamine hit: new gear, new builds, constant upgrades. You’ll think, “yeah, this is gonna be good.” And then… the grind kicks in. Hard. Mid-to-late game turns into a repetitive slog 🪨 Same missions. Same enemies. Over and over. You’re not replaying because it’s fun — you’re replaying because the game forces you to. Drop rates slow down, materials get annoying, and suddenly it feels like a second job. Now the story… yeah, no. It’s bad. 💤 Not even “so bad it’s funny.” Just confusing, poorly delivered, and completely forgettable. It tries to be deep but ends up feeling like disconnected nonsense. Characters have zero impact, and there’s no real payoff. So what you get is this split: ✔️ Great gameplay ✔️ Deep customization ✔️ Fun early progression ❌ Awful story ❌ Repetitive missions ❌ Soul-crushing grind It’s frustrating because there’s a genuinely great mech game in here somewhere 🤖 You can feel it every time combat clicks. But the pacing, repetition, and weak narrative drag it down hard. Verdict: Worth it if you only care about blowing stuff up in a mech and don’t mind grinding your sanity away. Otherwise — this burns out fas
TL;DR - 8/10 'power armor souls like' with a questionable random gear stat system and excessive cosmetic DLC. In full... If you can get over the fact that you aren't actually piloting a giant robot in this one, it's really fun. Really solid movement and boosting, especially with light builds and the weapon variety is pretty good. Boss fights are for the most part fun all around and let you make good use of said mobility. That said, the game is not without its faults... First and foremost, the random roll gear stats - Gear items randomly roll a large majority of their stats across a wide range. How wide? A 12-shot missile launcher can roll an ammo capacity as low as 138 or as high as 260 rounds - the former of which is nearly unusable. This adds nothing to the game and arguably detracts from it as you'll often get items with very low rolls on essential stats like damage or memory cost/capacity which makes them effectively useless - and a fair number of items can't even be bought in the shop(which gives fixed 'average' stats in all areas), so you can't even always go that route. Additionally, Heavy builds just feel incredibly bad to play. Even something as basic as dashing for more than a brief moment requires you to uncontrollably skid to a halt when you stop, before you can start moving again. I'm sure this is done to add weight to heavy builds but mostly it just makes them feel clunky and hard to control - especially when you add that Heavy parts have poor Femto capacity(Femto being a resource you use to boost and activate special abilities). Last but certainly not least, this game takes part in the modern plague of 'excessive cosmetic DLCs' - there's 30-odd DLC packs avaliable on the market almost all of which are alternate outfits, hairstyles, or even a few alternate skins for the beginner weapons(yknow, the ones you won't be using after a few hours). This kind of thing is not OK and will never be OK, and the game deserves to be called out on it. Sure, a few of these DLC packs are free... but then why weren't they added as a free update? Simple, really, because by having them in the DLC store you have to go INTO said store and look at all the things you COULD spend money on... I also ran into some occasional performance issues(load hitching once every few hours mostly), but those can be explained due to running the game on a HDD instead of an SSD. Doesn't make the game unplayable though for the people out there that value price ber byte on their storage (could be a problem in coop maybe).
The game's start is fine. Cheesy and cliche story bits that you dont have to pay much attention to at all, and an interesting amount of customization. I wouldnt say the story is "bad" (so far), just unremarkable/uninteresting. However, you start to see greater lack of polish as time goes on in relation to the gameplay, as well as objectively bad game design. I'll break down the Camera Issues, Movement, Combat, and the common grievance most people rightfully complain about: The loot drop system. - The biggest problem is the fact that the camera is terrible. Just as a baseline it's pretty hard to see what enemies are doing, and the way it's seemingly locked to only one side of your character while being zoomed out just enough to prevent you from seeing what the thing directly in front of you is doing, but not zoomed out enough to see what the enemies around you are doing gets pretty annoying even when you stay still. They try to make enemies telegraph things, but it's not enough. And when you take into account this is supposed to be a high-speed game with a lot of movement, it's downright terrible. Speaking of which. - There's basically two ways to move quickly: Using stamina to slide around the ground at higher speeds and using your femto gauge. In both cases your turn radius is terrible, and if your try to turn too tightly, your character will instead do this slow animation of turning around, then do a complete 180 and sprint the other way. While this is happening, you're getting lit up by enemy fire that's to your flank as you try to just get closer to these enemies. So even if you're turning like a semi-truck on an icy interstate, there's like 60-80 degrees that you just cant comfortably turn towards at any given time. Your only solution in the case of using the stamina method is to do your "emergency dodge/boost" to launch yourself in that direction manually, which takes extra stamina but it regenerates fairly quickly. Not Femto though. - The base mechanics of the game rely around using your weapon to do damage (obviously) while you try to avoid taking damage. Excluding your weapons, most actions take stamina and/or, more importantly, Femto. Using your "combat art"? Flying (Which you'll be doing constantly)? Trying to boost/run in a direction? Using your chosen suit ability or armor ability? All these and more require Femto, and will exponentially take more and more. No Femto means that you are forced to do absolutely nothing but stay on the ground, swing your weapon, and hope your 4 seconds of stamina usage in combat and 3 seconds of stamina recovery will save you while you have to wait about a hopeful minimum of 2 minutes for your Femto to regen, often taking more if you have a higher capacity. And this is with equipment that's meant to be good at "Femto Efficiency". This is no problem if you just have equipment that does significant damage and can end fights quickly, but with padded bosses and enemies at different points having moves that force you to use these resources, this can make fights very frustrating and grueling. And not in a good way, as you'll see. - Fighting enemies becomes more of a chore than something fun. Due to the fact that the computer will autotrack you and only miss if the weapon that they are using itself is bad or you're spamming dodge for i-frames, you will ultimately be winning or losing fights based on how big your numbers are. This is even further the case due to the fact that the computer will read your inputs like it's a 90s or early 2000s fighting game, and just respond accordingly. Then after that, maybe a rock-paper-scissors scenario where your build just happens to counter what the enemy is doing. Can you, in these few situations where the game actually gives some "difficulty", just change your equipment to counter whatever issue is presenting a problem? Sure. But there's two issues. The first, is that this isn't fun to do. You probably chose the equipment you did because you enjoy how that feels the most, so grabbing equipment that you actively dislike to try and counter it just sucks. And you have to either go to a specific point on the map or return to base to do so, or just quit the mission you're doing and starting over. More often that not, you're just gonna bash your head against the wall until it breaks. The second is that the way you gather equipment in this game sucks, and here's why - I HOPE YOU LIKE ROULETTES! Because every single piece of equipment has a chance to drop from specific or random enemies, which have 3-6 stats that are each randomly scaled to a separate letter grade they get from D-A as the higher grades are substantially rarer. It's like a Gatcha system, but worse! Small enemies, big enemies, bossfights, etc. You could grind a bossfight countless times and still get shafted on the stats of the equipment on the rare chance they drop then thing you're actually looking for (and you'll need a LOT of stuff from bosses. It will take 10s of attempts). And there's something even more annoying to grind for, which are basically your superpowers you get from slicing dna off of enemies and adding it to yourself. Each power requires a specific combination of dna, and enemies drop specific variations that you need to mix and match like you're playing puyopuyo in order to unlock the corresponding power. There's a maximum you can carry, so you really need to go back and forward from base as you deform your character's appearance in the process. Grinding for anything in this game is quite literally like walking into a casino and hoping to win big. This game lacks cohesion and execution around its core concept that make it feel clunky and experimental despite asking a very high price. This game will not be your friend, so you will need one to play it with you for it to be tolerable.
