Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Feels like Anthem if that game wasn't lame. Kinda Monster Hunter and Gundam with open world dungeon crawling. I'm digging it so far.
Great Mech Game Parts offer variants for individual pieces so that you can balance cosmetics with performance. If a primary stat for an armor isn't what you'd like and you prefer other pieces you can get something closer to your tastes with variants. Attachments also accomplish this. Weapons are diverse and look great. They are unique per type and per individual weapon. Lots of customization for playing how you'd like and having a good time.

If you like anime inspired action mecha games, it's fine. It's technically "Iron Man" or "Anthem" style suits rather than large mechs. It didn't bother me and I didn't really notice a difference. From a technical standpoint, I played on both a 3080, and a mobile 5070. I keep things at 1080 and cap at 60fps. Performance was about the same. Graphically, you'll need to tweak some of the settings. There were some odd occurrences where the color would super saturate, or the environment would disappear. There are also weather effects, which will absolutely blind you. Not sure if that was the intent. There were some frame drops and staggering while traversing the overworld, seemingly at random. Some other points: - Imagine if Armored Core VI had an open world with drop in drop out coop. It sounds better in theory than in practice. - The combat reminds me more of Zone of the Enders. It's fast and flashy. Weapons are unique enough and feel good. - There's a weapons mastery system, so the more you use one weapon type the more damage that type will do. - Equipment drops constantly, and stats are randomized, so two of the same gun or helmet will have different stats. - Flying and movement feels good. There are vehicles if you don't want to fly, since there's a "fuel" mechanic. - Vehicle controls did not feel good, and were largely not usable for me. The bike and the "not warthog" were no go's for me. The horse was okay. Really, just fly. - As with other titles trying the whole open world action game thing, the focus is more on scale than substance. Lots of space. Tons of little drops or pickups here and there. It's all marked on the map. A few hours in I just ignored it all. There are enemies and patrols and what not, but no real satisfaction to exploring. - There are NPC's that play part of the story and tag along with you on quests. - Like the first one, there is a story. I couldn't tell you what it is, or what is actually happening, or how everything is tied together. There's "Outer's", an evil(?) organization, some kind of conflict that's not really explained, and lots of dramatic moments that are supposed to be impactful, but come out of nowhere so there's no real connection. Imagine an edgy twelve year old writing his first anime. - There's a "Monster Hunter-esque" mechanic where you can farm bosses for cores to craft blueprints. The blueprints also have random stats, and some blueprints are for equipment that's already droppable. - There's an arena, almost exactly mimicking Armored Core yet, the only multiplayer is PVE and not PVP. - Most of the part designs are pretty cool. If you're done with Armored Core and want to keep in the genre, this will do something for you. It's nowhere near as polished and some of the concepts seem half baked, but at it's heart you have a somewhat competent action game. Buy it on sale.
Painfully bad narrative mixed with extreme jank in the controls. This game feels like it is really really close to being great but as is.. just kind of a crappy forgettable action game that gets boring fast and was half assed by mediocre devs.
I was going to write a college thesis statement about my various gripes and issues with the game ive had in my brief time playing but I think a far shorter review might suffice. They took away the cool mechs in favor of Iron Man suits (Not a deal breaker but thats kind of gay in a derogatory way, not gay like two boys kissing but gay like two brothers making out.) The Iron Man suits have "Stamina" this issue is entirely with the terminology and not the bar itself since DXM1 had an energy bar that could deplete if you were being too careless with your dashes. The game is entirely open world. Not a cool open world either, a vast, mostly empty, nothingburger open world filled with the color grey. Grey enemies, grey military dudes and grey metal structures. Maybe they're hiding all of the colors in one of the unexplored areas on my map IDK, but I dont want to explore anything when everything looks exactly the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ same. Further I have to walk/drive everywhere. Instead of selecting a mission and getting right into the action, I have to then leave HQ, go on a field trip to the corner store to pick up some smokes, get robbed on the way, finally get to where im going so I can have fun for five minutes, then I have to walk back. Shameful, the worst open world I've seen from a development team of more than 2 people. I WAS GONNA LEAVE IT THERE ON THE OPEN WORLD BUT ♥♥♥♥ IVE JUST GOT SO MUCH TO SAY MAN! The mechs in DXM were reasonably fast, you felt like an unstoppable machine of war zipping across vast open fields and dashing between attacks. DXMTS instead has me moving at maybe 48 mph in my Iron Man suit, and if I get on a bike I can go 80mph. This open world isn't even that big I just move like an ant on a treadmill. I cannot properly express how unfun this world is to be in and I am forced to be in it. Development of new equipment is artificially gatekept behind exploring their ♥♥♥♥ ass open world and fighting monsters so instead of rolling up to the boss encounter stacked, im rolling up 3 grenades and half my ammo short because maybe this time this basic ass enemy will drop a blueprint for a weapon that isn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ or I had to blow up a few resource nodes along the way so I can afford to buy a set of armor with 50 more speed so I can consider getting to my next mission some time this year. I was weary of DXMTS based on the steam reviews when the game launched and buddy they were RIGHT. I'm sure if your an outsider to the series this game might be great and you'll love it. But as a fan of the first one, this really isn't it. Every change is either obtuse in its implementation or outright bad. The only thing I can say is good is the music which has yet to piss me off. Fortunately or unfortunately I now own the soundtrack so I'll be sure to append my review with a review of this games soundtrack. Definately overall negative experiance so far, maybe the game will win me over but if your a fence sitter and the sale is appealing, just know that DXMTS is the EDF 6 to DXM1's EDF 5.
