Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 8.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Cultist Simulator is a game of apocalypse and yearning from Alexis Kennedy, creator of Fallen London and Sunless Sea. Play as a seeker after unholy mysteries, in a 1920s-themed setting of hidden gods and secret histories. Perhaps you're looking for knowledge, or power, or beauty, or revenge. Perhaps you just want the colours beneath the skin of the world.
In this roguelike narrative card game, what you find may transform you forever. Every choice you make, from moment to moment, doesn't just advance the narrative - it also shapes it.
Become a scholar of the unseen arts. Search your dreams for sanity-twisting rituals. Craft tools and summon spirits. Indoctrinate innocents. Seize your place as the herald of a new age.

In this 20-40 hour game, you'll:
Combine cards to tell your own story in a rich, Lovecraftian world of ambition, appetite and abomination. Corrupt your friends. Consume your enemies. There is never only one history.
Found a cult, dedicated to the Red Grail, or the Witch-and-Sister, or the Forge of Days. Recruit Believers and promote them to Disciples to serve as burglars, researchers, cat's-paws. Use your disciples to keep you fed - or feed on your disciples.
Unravel arcane, unacknowledged mysteries. Translate grimoires and glean their lore. Locate and pillage the Star Shattered Fane. Penetrate the realm of the Hours, and win a place in their service. Perhaps - if you are very cunning - you may even glimpse the Mansus.
Outwit rivals, investigators and the increasingly suspicious Authorities. Your own altered Appetites may force you to act abominably, but your Cause must not be stopped.
Transcend death with a story-driven legacy system. Perhaps your inheritors will complete the Rite of the Crucible Soul. Perhaps they'll find peace in a pleasing career. Perhaps they'll bring the Dawn.

Reviews
玩得很爽,完美的游戏
Честно говоря ничего непонятно и не очень интересно.
Ultimately, I think it's a great collection of ideas in a terrible card game. WAY too repetitive and grindy.

太特么的好玩了,不玩不是人,特意在ipad上也下了(主要是为了强制自己不开控制台)灯衍生胜利了,但是后续再开的灯使徒实在是太难了。。回归电脑拜请一下控制台之神
The exploration aspect is really interesting but the grind just weighs it down too much. Losing a run does not feel as if you have learned things you now want to try and use in your next run. It just feels lika a punisment of early game grind you have to endure so you can get back to the interesting parts.
I have no idea what's going on, but it's captivating.
This is the most original game i have played in my entire life (1500 game catalogue and average 47h in games across all of them) and challenges your emotional, logic and luck, just dive in and get used to how things work as concepts, figure out a way, force, or abandon your quest. The choises feel endless and impactful. I am writing this Review as an response to my one sit 13 h run as medium. What a rollercoaster of emotions, you can get immersed more than in book, but you need to keep track of info load equal to many books (in single adventure) and some things are just bare abstractions. Take that as it is. Mansus has no walls.
A fascinating game about plugging cards into timers (Don't worry, you can pause). I never would have imagined a game like this could be so immersive, or have such interesting emergent gameplay. Little stories emerge as you go about your business ordering your cultists about. Evading (or dealing with) the law. Finding patrons and unlocking secret mysteries. I wish I could tell you more about my experience, but that would be spoilers. Those little "Wait, I can DO that?" realizations were some of my favorites. There are some caveats. This is certainly not a game for the impatient. Just learning how to not immediately lose the game from despair or insanity takes some doing. A lot of people are going to bounce off that initial hurdle and give up, I know I did the first time. After that there is a lot of trial and error that's going to happen, and it can be frustrating. Especially after you sink hours into an attempt. I think probably the worst aspect of the game is the "Work" timer. It has been pointed out in other reviews but having to plug the same cards into that timer every 70 seconds or so for tens of hours gets very old. I suppose it is supposed to represent the drudgery of a daily job, and it certainly achieves that. Of course you can simply stop going to work once get enough money, and I highly encourage anyone who plays this game to do just that. Work when you need cash. No, you do NOT need 100 funds for anything. Just stop. There is a reason it's not automated of course, as if it were you would definitely be VERY frustrated when you suddenly realize you need the work timer for something urgent only to discover that you're locked out of it for the next minute and your limited resources are going to decay and now you're completely screwed. Anyway, my advice for anyone in the mid-game slump is to stop being complacent. You got that far by trying new and risky things and you've fallen into safe habits. If things feel slow, you're probably missing something. Try new things. Plug cards in that you haven't tried before. The Dream and Talk timers will surprise you. I do wish expeditions and dreams were a bit more interesting. They are rather static once you figure them out. My first win took me 30 hours to achieve without spoiling myself on anything. Your milage may vary. Now that I know what I'm doing I suspect my next victory will take significantly less time, and I'm looking forward to it.
