A retro-inspired 2D Action RPG set in the distant future. CrossCode combines 16-bit SNES-style graphics with butter-smooth physics, a fast-paced combat system, and engaging puzzle mechanics, served with a gripping sci-fi story.

I like it.
Its good. Old school Zelda-like game with great top down combat.
I have to recommend CrossCode, because I spent so much time playing it. But I think it's probably not a game for everyone. If this is the game for you then you will love it, but otherwise, you might hate it. It's basically like an offline MMO. It's actually incredible in its scope, in terms of how much content there is, and how many areas. All the other people in the game are simulated of course. It's a 2.5D isometric world where you attack mobs, interact with NPCs, and upgrade your skills in an enormous skill tree. It's a purposefully difficult game without mercy. You will grind. There is a difficulty slider which you can use at any time, to reduce enemy damage, attack frequency, or puzzle speed, by 50%. Even if you do that, there will probably be places that you struggle. But it's a beautiful and interesting world. I found myself really involved in it. It was actually really like MMOs I've played, I got very involved with the in-game world, despite the players not being real. And the story itself — the story you are experiencing first hand — is actually interesting and engaging, and makes you feel involved with it. You will feel sad, you will feel happy. It's surprising how a few sprites and some text can make you feel something, but it can. The artwork is actually really good. The other aspect of this game are the puzzles. These mostly occur in the dungeons, and while they start out easy, they become very baffling in the mid to late game, and the bosses become increasingly annoying to fight. But for me, it never got to a point where I didn't want to continue. This will depend on your personal frustration level. Lastly. are the secrets, and I actually loved figuring out how to get them. In this game you can usually see where they are, but because of the 2.5D aspect, you need to figure out how to get to that particular part of the environment, by finding a nearby area that let's you climb up, and then following it around over multiple surrounding areas. I've honestly never encountered that kind of puzzle before, but I found it fun and rewarding to figure out how to get all of the secrets. Honestly, the game itself was such a joy to play that I would play it with no particular objective in mind.

好玩,难度适中
This game is great, Lea is a very memorable videogame protagonist and the story shows her character and charm alongside others. The combat challenges players in finding enemy weaknesses and puzzles really test the player's intelligence and attentiveness to mechanics and the layout of rooms in order to progress through the story. Even if i can keep up with the puzzles and combat, I understand how people can find this game infuriating as the game does not have a difficulty slider, and there are some platforming/ puzzle sections as side content that are genuinely difficult to do and require a lot of patience and skill to complete. The second dungeon seems to be a huge filter for players' opinions of the game, as puzzles and rooms can be too many and using introduced puzzle mechanics can feel overstayed as you spend the next hour or so using it when it can be mastered and utilized in half it's time. Another mixed bag is exploration, as the game is at a pixelated angled top down perspective, the platforming takes a while to get used to as some cliffs or higher levels isn't as clear to the eyes, making jumping and trying to reach high areas very disorienting and confusing. Combining these mixed aspects of the game makes it hard to absorb it in your first playthrough, I had to drop the game because of how exhausting everything felt. Years after, I made a new game and enjoyed it much more because I already understood the game's flow, control and mechanics and was able to skim through puzzles and difficult sections faster. Its a story driven singleplayer game that is at heart a puzzle/action game with some action rpg mechanics that unapologetically test the player's wits and time with handcrafted levels, and the MMORPG side of the game is a setting for the story rather than the actual gameplay. As one review worded, this game is good for the correct players, and i feel that it's bad for anyone that never touched a videogame before because of it's robust controls and complicated puzzles.
本人很喜欢这种类型的游戏 话说Crosscode以后还会有新的DLC吗? Will there be any new DLC for CrossCode in the future?
Without a doubt the most underrated game I've ever played. Easily a top 10 game for me, I'd pretty comfortably say it's close to top 5. The main cast in this game is so fun and colorful, every single character is just brimming with personality. The gameplay is equally fun, it's super fast-paced and smooth, just overall such a joy to play. The world building in this game is also phenomenal, the map is meticulously designed to make exploration rewarding, and it pulls off the "game inside a game" idea so seamlessly. Whenever the exploration and combat isn't carrying the experience, the story is. It balances the in-game CrossWorlds story with the out-of-game CrossCode story superbly well, so many interesting twists and turns that keep you glued to the game.
解谜量大管饱,技能设计的很好,可惜小怪设计的太变态了,boss全是机制,很难爽起来
