About
Crisol: Theater of Idols is a gripping survival horror adventure set in the haunting world of Hispania, a nightmarish reimagining of Spain.
Playing as Gabriel, a soldier who can use his own blood as a deadly weapon, you endeavor on a journey to fulfill a divine mission from the Sun God.
Uncover the chilling history and twisted folklore of Tormentosa, a beautiful but malevolent island. Traverse eerie landscapes, crumbling grand ruins, and labyrinthine streets as you peel back the layers of cults and blood sacrifice.
Blood is both your lifeline and your ammunition. Wield this new-found power against terrifying enemies and solve intricate puzzles, but beware: every shot drains your life. Choose wisely—survival hinges on your ability to balance life and death.
Upgrading the powers that leverage the lethality of blood allows you to deal more damage, fight for longer, and gain bonuses in combat. Navigate myriad weapon options for the right scenario and improve them through coins found in your exploration of Tormentosa.
Hispania’s disturbing fusion of historical events, folklore, and religious undertones creates a uniquely horrifying world. Face off against staggering statues brought to life and unravel a dark narrative that blurs the line between reality and nightmare.
Prepare to sacrifice everything. How much blood will you shed to uncover the truth?

Truly capable of standing beside the greats of the genre. Fun, interesting and a unique mechanic that will cause anxiety, EXACTLY what you want in a survival horror. It has some problems but if I could play it for the first time again, I would. That is my highest compliment for entertainment. Edit: I just noticed I bought this as a bundle. This game is under priced. At the under $20 range this is 100% game of the year.

Fear Factor: 2/5 Scratched the RE/survival horror itch. It's like Bioshock + Resident Evil gameplay with some unholy combination of Lies of P + Blasphemous for a world. It's an indie title and not too expensive so I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It's still a bit janky and rough around the edges but overall I quite enjoyed this. Good - World design - Enemy design - RE Puzzles - Decent gunplay - Most of the character upgrades were quite good - Can upgrade guns - and each level is very impactful - Sound design. The sound design is really great here. Going into a room and hearing puppets creaking was both very immersive and very helpful for gameplay. All the guns sounded great. - Good level design, each chapter's map is quite big - Story was quite intriguing in combination with the environmental storytelling and lore items - Doesnt overstay its welcome - perfect length (12hrs or so) Maybe - I played with English VA. This will be VERY hit or miss. Both the dialog and voice acting sound like a generic anime dub (WHICH I LIKE :P) but it does detract a bit from the seriousness of the situation. Your main radio girl especially. If you like waifu aah sounding characters this will be a plus Bad - Typical UE5 stutterfest when traversing through chunks - Only one resource to manage: your health - Can completely miss every gun permanently except your starting pistol and the final chapter gun
WELL WORTH THE PRICE RESIDENT EVIL AND BIO SHOCK MIX
So I played the game to the end, reminds me my most favourite Bioshock, the game felt little bit sad but I like Mediodía 10/10 very nice game 2026 thank you!
