Its meh. The loot pool leaves a lot to be desired. The game has a good charm to it that I can see myself just hopping on for 20 mins completing a level and getting off kind of like playing a mobile game that's what id akin it to. Something to pass the time that's it.
WTF a ♥♥♥♥♥ game!!!
no keybinds, camera is janky with it zipping around the mobs if u r locked onto them. feels like there some input delays.

I really tried not to leave a bad review for Crimson Moon because I genuinely love the concept, art style, atmosphere, and overall look of the game. But after 18 hours of playing, I can't ignore the problems anymore. The gameplay becomes extremely repetitive. The "new" enemies and routes often feel like nothing more than, "This time we opened the left door instead of the right one." There just isn't enough variety between runs to make the repetition feel rewarding. The progression/replayability is even more frustrating. A full run consists of completing three missions followed by a boss fight. Once you finish that, the game essentially asks you to do the same thing again—and then a third time to reach the final boss. The problem is that each of those runs has permanent death. So if you've already fought your way through Mission 1 and Mission 2, then die permanently near the end of Mission 3, you're sent all the way back to Mission 1 and have to repeat that entire run again. You don't lose everything you've accomplished in the game, but you do lose all of the progress from that run. With how repetitive the missions already are, having to replay the same sections because of a permanent death gets old very quickly. But my biggest issue by far is the PC optimization. After my second or third mission in a run, the game consistently starts lagging and progressively gets worse the longer I play. Eventually, my inputs can be more than a full second behind. The only thing I've found that fixes it is completely closing and reopening the game—which isn't exactly an option in the middle of a run because quitting means losing that run's progress like a permanent death or run abandonment. So I end up reaching a point where the game becomes borderline unplayable, my inputs are massively delayed, and I die because the game isn't responding properly. When dying means potentially repeating three missions from the beginning, losing a run because of the game's performance rather than your own mistake is incredibly frustrating. I've adjusted graphics settings, FPS limits, shader settings, and tried troubleshooting the issue, but the performance degradation continues. There's a game here that I really want to like, which honestly makes this review more disappointing to write. The art direction and concept are great, but the repetitive progression combined with the awful PC optimization makes it very difficult for me to recommend Crimson Moon in its current state. 18 hours played, and unfortunately, I can't recommend it right now.
RED
This game could be cool but they make it soo hard to play with friends and takes forever to do anything and when you go into the missons with a friend it kicks one of you out half the time!
Beautiful game. Co-op is fun. I just hate that combat is too soulish.
