Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.67/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ddodging doesn't really work. "Grab a controller". I'm on a PC. I expect to be able to use my keyboad and mouse properly. Not for me.
Everything feels really fluid, which is important in a game that relies so much on reactions and timing. It's a Soulsly Metroidvania with great combat and really fantastic art. Bog thumbs up, especially at its price.

I refuse to believe people are sleeping on this hidden gem. Great art-style, amazing combat, great music (tho it could use more tracks). Its visceral, edgy and unique. It's a light metroidvania. It focuses a lot more on combat than exploration, but you do have to traverse the entire map to finish it (get that one thing from that one boss so you can progress to the next area etc). Combat is SUPERB. It's like a 2d sekiro type of combat. Your parry is your lifeline and chaining your attacks with precises button presses make a lot of difference. You also have an ultimate and 4 stances you can use. Some are defensive and other offensive. Each has a certain effect, like fainting an attack or auto-blocking, dodging back/front and pressing your attacks results in different finishers from those stances. The game also has 4 characters to chose from (bastardsword, greatsword, one handed sword and dual wield daggers), and their play style is quite different and each has their own stances and upgrades. Enemies are varied (or at least their move set is) and bosses are really fun to beat. The game isn't too hard either, you just need to figure out how to space your attacks for certain bosses. You have items to equip as well, to make a build fit for you and consumables to throw at enemies. It even has co-op, which is crazy. A lot to love here for sure. They did an amazing job making this, you feel/see it in every animation. HIGHLY recommended if you enjoy skill-based action games. Hope to see more from this dev, a sequel would be amazing. Well done.
It's a 2D dark souls with a combo system and a very satisfying parry system
Crimson Capes is euro jank with art and animation that looks like it came from 90's websites. The characters are look liked they were rotoscoped like original mortal kombat and didn't feel out of place. I kept playing because I was just curious to see what the next area and bosses were going to be. Most of the bosses sucked if I'm being honest, but I couldn't put it down and I don't know why? You can play as one of 4 guys with different magic abilities like thunder ground pound, become invisible, or set enemies on fire. The items and gear you get is at a pace that is insanely fast and I couldn't even use them all. I didn't like how it ended with a cliffhanger. The other thing I didn't like is how fighting more than one enemy is terrible, you have no opening and their attacks layer over each other in a way that you will die 100% of the time. They actually put co-op and invasions just like the big games, only problem is nobody is playing the game. So don't expect to engage in the online stuff. The manual helps you if you don't know what or where to go. A huge negative of souls-like negated :) The combat system is honestly why it's so good. You have stamina that prevents enemies from getting parried, so you need to drain it, by doing some form of light attack like kick or pommel strike so you can go in for swing. You can chain light or heavy attacks when timed right, you can feint attack and so can enemies. If you mess up a parry or don't time your attack either will be punished. Animation and timing of your attacks is super important Can't wait to see what they cook next as it seems each game has been getting better and learning.
*Comments for the devs*
I would say you the combat down, just make the animations line up for bosses so it's easier to read, maybe put a stamina bar for them so you know when your parry will stun them. Bosses can get stuck in the corner and won't move if you keep wailing, this makes it hard to read if they don't move back towards the center. The text animation is terrible and hurts my eyes. Just put it all at once, no need to have it scroll like how it is now. Also make it easier to know you can swap characters when it first happens, I thought I was stuck with the new character until I finished the level. I would say keep the basic moveset upgrades constant between them. It felt bad to have to upgrade them for each character. This didn't encourage me to try out the others and just upgrade the first guy Loved the crazy amount of gear and items. Like the one that increases damage but poisons you, and the ring that prevents poison damage. More of this type of stuff, not many people do this well and it was fun to see what new item a boss would drop. The parry is great, but I feel it's too easy to pull off. It needs more risk as the payoff is already so great.
Final question
Why did you end the game on a cliffhanger like that. Did you run out of budget?
Strange game but there is something to it)
This game is the best experience ive had where a game tries and succeeds to implement a "battle flow" where there is a fluid back and forth between you and the enemy. Very challenging especially if you don't try to brute force fights but also very rewarding when you can achieve a good flow. Solid story. all in all, EASILY one of my new favorite games.
Well this was unexpectedly excellent. I lurve the 80's B movie kind of 'Conan' setting and it has the x factor of fun gameplay! It is a side scrolling action game in a dark heroic fantasy world, but not very mretroidvania like in tha you don't need to get new tools to open up the map (unless you count unlocking one or two other characters who have powers you need to bypass one or two blocks). It isn't really a soulslike either. Upon death, you just reset to your nearest 'bonfire' but lose nothing much except consumables expended. Fights are fun challenging but not really hard, mostly, and there are well placed checkpoints in most hard spots so you can rapidly get back to the action if you do die. Bosses can usually be defeated pretty quickly with only a handful of deaths. There are several different build types you could follow depending on character and equipment - I reckon most people will find a build they like. It is a great deal of fun! I look forward to the sequel!
You can tame a wolf and befriend it.
If you are into souls like games i would 100% reccomend the game to everyone. From Unique artstyle and combat this game is a true masterpiece that blends both,
