About

In the mood for a story? The Creep has picked these out just for you...
Creepshow is a collection of twisted, self-contained tales where the humor is dark, and the endings are… not what you expected. Each story drops you into a nightmare with new characters, new horrors, and a fate that you won’t see coming.

Follow Danny and his friends as a bad day at the mall turns into something much, much worse.
Their search for the truth of what happened to Danny’s father turns dark as they uncover sinister secrets.
Fate brings Danny to The Reader, a mysterious fortune-teller, who has a taste for treacherous tales.
Expect pulp-inspired visuals, a tone that plays up the camp without losing its wit, and endings that hit hard. The horror here isn't just trying to scare you... It's about enjoying the whole thing a little too much.

All the thrills and chills you expect from Shudder's Creepshow
Play through one overarching narrative, with two additional self-contained stories
Stylized comic-book environments with horror mini-games throughout each story

As someone who has loved Creepshow—Stephen King and George A, Romero, be still my beating heart—there comes a sense of nostalgia with this game. While it has the intentions of following the predecessor in video game format, there are some negatives and positives to this game. I love the pulp comic-book style of the the game which is akin to the actual comics; and like Tales From The Crypt ones as well. I wish more games were like this. Overall, the game is too short and I was expecting more than two chapters—last chapter I do not count, and when you get there you will know why. I wish the score for the game was more full-bodied like a horror game should be. The main story should have been more elaborated upon with dialogue options that influenced what happened, along with other endings; show what happened to the other characters, not just a brief glimpse and a still shot. The first story creeped me the hell out, XD. It took everything in me to finish it, which I am not complaining about. It has been a long time since something made my skin crawl in a game. The second story was a cautionary tale, and I liked the message of it though I wish there was more to this chapter. I think adding a DLC to this game could fix a lot of issues I have pointed out, and others that have. Please make a DLC which more chapters, better soundtrack, and either expand on the original characters or bring in new ones. And the Creep! I liked The Reader, but this game also needs it's OG. Maybe it was a licensing issue? Overall I give the game a 6/10 because it was fun regardless of the issues, and if you have the spare cash and the game is on sale, buy it.

Very reminiscent of the source material, I had a great time with this and hope they make another!
GG, don't look spoilers in the hub. Should have been a little longer.
If you go into this game expecting a nice short game with some decent puzzles and pretty entertaining stories then you won't be disappointed. Decently short game, great to lose about two hours'ish in. If you're a fan of Creepshow and don't have hours to pour into a game this should suffice.
Very short, only two stories and low on puzzles. Mostly minigame-like stuff to do.
I wanted to really enjoy this game, but sadly I was left very disappointed. Firstly I got stuck in the first chapter where it tells you to left click to select the food for the bugs and it didn't work, thought I'd hit a bug and was pressing loads of buttons on my keyboard to then realise spacebar was the button to select even though bottom right said to left click. Then after the first chapter ended, everything went downhill really fast. The stories were very boring and just dragged through to leave you so underwhelmed and disappointed at the actual end of the whole game. I even wasted some time because I went left instead of right on the 2nd chapter and ended up running all the way around to end up at a tree for no reason. I had to turn back around and waste even more time running all the way back for nothing.. Why is that even a thing in the game?? The graphics were pretty and the voice acting wasn't bad, but other than that. it was a let down.
I enjoyed this game over all. it is short but the price fits it as this is related to the old tv show / movie so it is expected to be a little higher. I liked the comic book graphics and feeling to it. It is more of a point and click walk through but you enjoy it as if you are watching the show. The first story was repetitive but I understand why yet some points had issues of knowing where to go next. It showed what the task was but not that you needed an item from the other side. from review stand point just that story I give a 6.5 out of 10. 2nd story I got into more and if you didnt wander n your own the play was more understandable and connecting to the story . yes this story type has been done a lot but we have to remember this is referring to the old shows so this is actually expected for us more experienced fans. This story I give a 7.5 out of 10. For some reason I was expecting a 3rd story but then thats the story behind the story . the other all game play i think some navigation could have been made easier but over all I give this a 7 out of 10. 7 out of 10!
refunded. when this was announced i was thrilled that the franchise was getting something new. having played it for little over an hour, it hurts to say the game is boring..... like really boring
