Crawling Angels

Didn't play it much, but it seems too innocent. Like a flash game made for kids where you play with a chicken plush because it squeaks and it's funny. As a profoundly intellectual, but also emotional gaming connoisseur I crave deep stories that immerse the players right away; gamified experiences that deliver profound philosophical messages about things such as guilt, shame, and what it means to grow up too quickly, bury trauma, or even face it head on. This game features nothing of the sort; just a stress chicken to toss around, then reset, then keep tossing around. In short: buy this game if you have children and you want them to have a fun, lighthearted experience. But if you're looking for something mature, harsh and emotional, please seek elsewhere. I've let my kids play this game while I'm at the gym and in the chess club (because I am strong but also deeply intellectual) and they reportedly liked it a lot for its "body horror". I'm not sure what they mean, but I assume it's about the plushie getting some of its stuffing out. Children can be so impressionable and innocent, am I right? Now, if you guys excuse me I'll be quite busy with ACTUALLY mature and deep games, so if you have any problems with my review I suggest you grow up and stop expecting sunshine, angels and rainbows to come down from the sky to fix the boohoo bad review of your favorite game and make you feel better. Overall rating: -Chicken violence 2/10, would benefit from things that allow you to play with the chicken such as hammers, guns, firecrackers, etc. because tossing it around gets old fast. -Floating heads 8/10, I haven't played Hotline Miami but I appreciate them reusing the iconic characters. -Disturbing potential 1/10, it's just a happy carnival full of whimsy and friends and quite honestly I crave more mature and twisted stuff. -Not a single mention of philosophers such as Camus which goes to show the developers do NOT care about profound philosophical messages, 2/10.

this game is truely amazing found the game off twitter from the dev posting about it and it had good references to brutal orchestra which is an amazing game, and the halflife, im sure theres so much i missed but i plan to 100%, im writing this after my first playthrough and im very much enjoying this game. the music the charecters the horror it all just looks so good, its amazing and id pay 20 even 30 dollars for this in a heartbeat

very fun and phenomenally written game . consistently made me want to look away from the monitor between the transition screen and i think that's very commendable . i loved the ending(s) also @talia does the change to the ending that happens when you [spoiler]save verity[/spoiler] happen if you've ever done it (such as through [spoiler]act select[/spoiler] or do i have to play through the whole game after doing that. thanunks

very short but phenomenal game, the voice acting is on point and the puzzles actually get pretty tricky, fully recommend and its worth the price.

Całkiem fajne, ale nie które zagadki musiałem podejrzeć, bo nawiązywały do rzeczy raczej nieznanych Polakowi (lub po prostu mi), a nie za bardzo miałem ochotę próbować wszystkiego na wszystkim licząc na to, że zaliczy mi zadanie. Przeszedłem grę przed finalną aktualizacją).
