At some point I had 3 FPS, no idea what the heck was happening, but I won. Would play again.
yet another case of early access game going unfinished after dev makes enough money to walk around in shoes made of gold

Как-будто не хватает мета-прогрессии, но в целом прикольно
Lots of fun, lots of content, and good performance
This is just doom ethernal, but instead of a nall mighty force of demon killing power, you play whatever escaped from the asian restaurante last week and it became quite violent. There are more weapons in this game than playtime in the newest call of durty campagne. Did I mention the multiplayer?
Crab Champions is a wonderful lesson on why you shouldn't dismiss a game for thinking it's a meme. What you're getting into is a third-person, roguelike power fantasy still in active development by the same guy who brought us "Crab Rave." Credit given to the absolute banger of a soundtrack. Noisestorm has created over 30+ tracks, and they really encapsulate the silly, fantastic tropical nature of being a crab with a gun and a mission to chase that crown! Each playthrough is round-based (islands), and progression is quite straightforward. You'll fight an elite every 8th island after going through the shop, and being victorious nets you keys. Use them to unlock the weapons and all of their mods + perks in the loot pool to fuel your builds. Every 28th island is a boss fight, which will guarantee legendaries and a run win. You'll be encouraged to "loop" and keep the dopamine going, especially on higher difficulties. RNG is a defining trait, but unlike other games, Crab Champions gives a lot of control in bending it to your favor. The levels offer a lot of variety in their challenges too, and mobility is king; it's very satisfying with fluid movement. The runs are typically 30 minutes for an initial loop win and then up to 4-5 hours before the computer decides to finally give in from everything thrown at the screen. Bonus points if playing co-op and your friends want to start a new run because of how stacked your little crab has become. Personally, I had a blast and finally reached Prismatic account rank the other day, completing all the challenges. The game is accessible for every age group and fun at all difficulties; you'll definitely feel emotionally rewarded. At this price, I will definitely be gifting them to my friends so they can join in on the fun!
This game is as much of a blast as it is a hilarious meme. 20/10 absolutely worth the buy.

Stays fun, round after round. Fantastic to play with friends, even if it's just a short run. Dev is doing good at keeping things interesting too.
