About
Cozy Marbles is a comfy game about building marble runs. Using a huge range of bits and pieces from charming homes, fairytale realms and starlit spacecraft, fit together the marble course you’ve always wanted to build and play with. Unwind to a bespoke lo-fi soundtrack and roll with the nostalgia.

Tinker with freeform construction tools and a rich library of parts. Design awesome spirals, twists and drops, then roll your marbles off on their adventure. Take “playing with marbles” to a whole new level by guiding them across complex courses, bouncing over obstacles with boosters, ramps and cannons, floating dreamily through anti-gravity fields, and even making music with xylophone blocks.
Play in a range of environments with themed parts:
A mellow Living Room, in daylight or at night.
A whimsical Fairytale Tavern, the perfect place to build a castle coaster or labyrinthine mushroom forest.
A mesmerizing Space Station for high-tech futurism including portals and laser tunnels.

Build your marble run from wood, metal or plastic, choose its colors and give it a name. Customize your marbles with a range of colors, patterns, national flags, facial expressions, stylish hats and silly little arms that flail while rolling. Beat challenges to unlock even more customization options, track pieces and environments.

Cozy Marbles is a little game with a big brain. Plan and experiment with all sorts of marble constructs, from marble rollercoasters to wacky apparatus. Watch your marbles flow through carefully laid routes… or fly way off track!

Assemble a marble course, drop your marbles and watch them race to the end. Use checkpoints to split the track or set up multiple start and finish lines wherever you want. Make your race sweet and simple, or huge and complex with tons of laps and hundreds of marbles! May the best one win.

The next step after perfecting your marble masterpiece (or diabolical marble trap) is to share it with the world. Export and import courses to show off your build and try everyone else’s. If you’re a streamer, use Twitch integration to let Twitch Chat drop marbles into your course and join your race!

Cozy Marbles is a physics sandbox where you build marble runs, race marbles through them, and download community-made courses through Steam Workshop. Tracks can range from simple races to huge creations with jumps, alternate routes, loops, and obstacles. Pros ✔️ The Twitch integration is a great fit - Viewers can join races as their own marbles, which made loading up different tracks and throwing everyone into a dispenser way more fun. ✔️ There is a lot you can build with - Community tracks showed off castles, shortcuts, split paths, jumps, loops, and some pretty ridiculous setups. Being able to download them in-game also means you do not have to build everything yourself. ✔️ Cosmetics do not need real money - Tickets for marble cosmetics and other unlocks are earned through playing instead of being tied to another cash shop. Cons ❌ Basic building pieces should not need unlocking - Cosmetic extras make sense as progression, but the main construction pieces should be available from the start if building is one of the biggest parts of the game. ❌ Viewer marbles could use more customization - Being able to pick colours is nice, but striped, glass, metal, or other styles would make individual marbles stand out much better during a big race. ❌ It could get repetitive pretty quickly - How long it stays interesting is going to depend heavily on the creativity of the tracks you are building or downloading. Conclusion I already watch marble races before bed and pick a colour to root for, so being able to throw a bunch of people into somebody else's ridiculous creation is exactly where Cozy Marbles works best for me. I may not spend hours carefully engineering tracks myself, but I could absolutely lose time browsing what other people have built and seeing which marble survives it. Score 7/10 Rolling Marbles - Give me a colour to root for and a ridiculous track, and I will happily let gravity settle the argument.
