Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The second installment in the series, Book of Shadows once again takes you back to Heavenly Host, but this time with a different approach. Unlike the first game, Book of Shadows reverts to a more traditional Visual Novel approach and honestly, I think it's BETTER than the first game. Given that many players picking this up are likely to have played the first game, this means less time needed to be spent on the setting and lore, with more time spent on the characters. Book of Shadows does exactly that, and both introduces and fleshes out many minor characters in the series, with a whole heap of different scenarios. The game also includes much more CG, and includes all CG from the first game if you have it in your library which is a huge plus. Why do I think it's better than the first game? I suppose to me, the visual novel style of story telling is just more suitable to Corpse Party than a top down pixel style the first game opted for. Seeing things from the character's perspective has personally always improved immersion in any horror setting, the same way I'd argue a first person horror game will on average, be scarier than a third person title. I think this is where Book of Shadows simply works better and more effectively for the series (Corpse Party Birthday Bash 2U also follows the same style). As always, the voice acting is excellent and the scenarios and endings creative. The menu navigation is also superior, along with all the extra content. You can also skip dialogue quickly and save at any point to try for different endings. If you were a fan of the first game but still on the fence, I highly recommend this game as at minimum, equal to the first game. I know I certainly enjoyed it more!

You did it again "Makoto" KEDOUIN, you absolute madlad, this one is especially great, I prefered the gameply element of this one, and the bigger focus on story telling, each chapters was interesting in its own right, and the latest one was a perfect segway into future entries, im HOOKED. The whole damnatio memori concept is the grweatest addition you could have made, and you deserve a kiss on the forehead for this magnum opus. Also let me make this clear, while "Satoshi" may not be portrayed in the best ;ogjt, he is still the GOAT ("Legendary Survivor") and I am DISAPPOITNED that there wasnt any follow up on that, but I know what you think MAKOTO (Kedouin), you're keeping us on our toes, youre a big maaaan, alright ill bite you beautiful man The morishige chapter was beautiful,, great music all voer but especially this chapter. I give this game 5 bags of popcorn, and I'll throw in a little scissor, to cut the tongye of the Principal Yanagihori (F*ck that g*y!) Thank you bro cya for newer adventures in BIRTHDAY BASH!!!!1!!
Buen juego de terror de novela visual
Echoes haunt the past Shadows deepen every scar Sorrow never sleeps
This game is a great sequel. It gives some insight on the past of a few characters, and shows "what if" scenarios of what happens in the previous game (Corpse Party 2021). The new mechanics are interesting, but not too different from the previous. Said mechanics are similar to Ace Attorney, if you've played that. You're put in an area, made to investigate, and are able to look around or move somewhere else. The prologue to Blood Drive is a very nice decision to add at the end and left me really wanting the game, although it went on a bit too long for my liking. If you've played the first game and liked it, I absolutely recommend this one.
