Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 25 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Lieber Entwickler. Anyway Halbe Bibel, ganze Coincidence. Ich muss kacken, war das dumm. Tschüsseldorf.

Coincidences? is a psychological horror adventure developed and published by FogTime that transforms an ordinary life event into an increasingly disturbing mystery. The story begins with a relatable dilemma: soaring rent prices force the protagonist to leave their current residence in search of a cheaper place to live. An unusually affordable house located near a quiet forest appears to be the perfect solution, especially after securing work at a nearby convenience store. However, what initially seems like fortunate timing gradually reveals itself to be anything but normal. As unsettling incidents begin to pile up, players are left questioning whether these events are truly random coincidences or part of a far darker truth waiting to be uncovered. The game's strongest quality is its ability to create suspense through atmosphere rather than relying on constant scares. Every location, from the isolated home to the surrounding woods and the seemingly mundane workplace, contributes to an oppressive sense of unease. The environments are carefully designed to make players feel isolated and vulnerable, while subtle environmental details encourage close observation. Instead of immediately revealing its secrets, the narrative unfolds gradually, allowing tension to build naturally as each discovery raises even more questions. This slow-burning approach rewards patient players who enjoy piecing together clues and interpreting environmental storytelling. Gameplay centers primarily on exploration, investigation, and first-person immersion. Players are encouraged to search their surroundings, interact with important objects, and uncover hidden details that advance the narrative. To keep the experience engaging, the game occasionally introduces more active sequences that require quick thinking and heightened awareness, breaking up the slower investigative moments with bursts of intensity. These gameplay shifts help maintain momentum without abandoning the deliberate pacing that defines the overall horror experience. The balance between exploration and moments of immediate danger keeps players invested throughout the relatively short adventure. Coincidences? also benefits from cinematic storytelling that remains grounded in the first-person perspective. Rather than relying heavily on lengthy dialogue or exposition, the game uses immersive sequences to strengthen the connection between the player and the protagonist. This presentation makes every unsettling encounter feel personal, allowing players to experience the growing paranoia firsthand. The restrained storytelling avoids overexplaining the mystery, leaving enough ambiguity to encourage speculation while still providing a satisfying progression toward its conclusion. Visually, the game embraces realism over spectacle, using lighting, environmental detail, and carefully staged scenes to create an unsettling atmosphere. The sound design complements this approach by emphasizing silence, distant noises, and subtle audio cues that constantly keep players on edge. Instead of overwhelming the player with nonstop horror, the experience understands that uncertainty and anticipation are often far more effective than frequent jump scares. This thoughtful approach gives each frightening moment greater impact when it finally arrives. The game's estimated ninety-minute runtime works well for its focused narrative. The concise length ensures that the mystery remains engaging without unnecessary padding or repetitive objectives. While some players may wish for additional story content or greater replay value, the compact structure allows the experience to maintain consistent pacing from beginning to end. Mature content, including graphic violence, gore, and disturbing themes, reinforces the psychological horror without becoming excessive or distracting from the central narrative. Overall, Coincidences? delivers an engaging indie horror experience built upon atmosphere, immersive storytelling, and carefully paced suspense. FogTime successfully demonstrates that compelling horror does not require elaborate mechanics or lengthy campaigns when the mood, narrative, and environmental design work together effectively. Although its brief duration may leave some players wanting more, its memorable setting, unsettling mystery, and immersive first-person presentation make it a worthwhile experience for fans of psychological horror and narrative-driven adventures. Sehr Starkes Atmosphären Horror Game von 1 Person, sehr gerne ein weiteres Spiel Ich Freu mich drauf mach weiter so
Some decent scares, a lot of bad ones. I really was turned off with the FNAF-ass gameplay, where it's trial and error over and over. A lot more annoying than anything, so I personally didn't like it
This game is pretty good, especially considering it is the dev’s first game. Monster is well designed, story is pretty well fleshed out, (I did not notice any plot holes, though I was curious why there was a children’s room when I saw nothing about a child) My only gripes about this game is that there needs to be auditory accessibility added. Especially during the end game, it was very hard to hear the monster footsteps for me, and the game from what I saw had no support for those that are hard of hearing. To continue, the last portion of the game was aggravating. The mechanic for the final boss if you will became irritating quick simply because if you died you lost all your progress that you made during that section. The game was a cake walk up until that point so it seemingly came out of nowhere. I think either make the game so it saves your progress if you die (you keep keys upon death) or make it so you only need 4 keys or so. It was just… too much. Even the people I was streaming for agreed that it required a lot of patience that simply a lot of people will not have. Overall, aside from those, the game was good and worth playing. Much potential here.
This is a really great game, especially being made by a solo dev. I truly appreciate the work that was put in to this game and it is the first game that has actually scared me in a while. I loved the start of it and the build up of the scares kind of wearing you down psychologically before getting to the big scares. The only thing negative I can say is there were some moments like the store puzzle with the boxes where you have to look at her to stop her and there were times where I was looking at her and still died or heard her footsteps and turned to look at her and immediately died within the same moment of first hearing her steps but that could have been a me problem. I admittedly am not the best at puzzles, but I truly appreciated the kind messages of offering to skip those parts when I couldn't get past them and I honestly wish more puzzle games had that option. I cannot tell you how many times I have quit a game and never gone back because of the puzzles and not being able to figure it out or having to look up the answer. Thank you for such a great game and the scares <3
