Reviews
Cute characters, fun mechanics, great music and a decent challenge. Played on Linux with minor issues (flickering cursor and sometimes problems with focus when alt-tabbing).
Engaging; entertaining; compelling Some make comparisons to FTL, I don't find it too similar. This game doesn't smash two games together in a creatively bankrupt way. There are several elements at play that make this game unique and compelling in the roguelike deckbuilder genre. While there isn't a massive quantity of enemies, the ones that are present are all rather unique, not many fights really feel like filler encounters, or some overcomplicated gimmicky mess (if any at all). The limited enemy roster is complimented by the unique array of potential 'builds' one can create, due to the pick three crew system. As for non inherently gameplay related elements, it excels in all regards. The writing makes attempts at witty remarks in a way that does not encourage eyerolls-- to put it simply, it's good. Learning of characters' stories was a compelling reward for finishing runs successfully. The music is very, very good. I smile every time I hear a track from this game. Both vibrant and adventurous, but driven and appropriate given the contexts they appear. The visual style is good. The intro cinematic with flashing imagery was especially compelling.

10/10 , truly a delight from start to finish
CC is a deck-driven, rouge-like set in a space environment. You will choose 3 out of 6 (eventually 7) characters, each with their own deck, along with a ship type. These decks will be set together, along with some basic starter cards to serve as your initial deck. You will follow a familiar StS-type node-based system over three distinct areas, curating your deck (upgrading, adding, and removing cards), gaining relics, and of course fighting ship-based battles. Each of the six characters has three memories to unlock, after which some sort of final memory is unlocked and you may proceed to the final sequence (at which point I considered the game as complete). Pros: ++ The character decks are unique and each bring something different to the table (block, movement, damage, modules, etc.). ++ The core mechanic of having the cards dictate your action in ship-to-ship combat comes off very nicely. + Game length doesn’t outlive the novelty. + Nice art style and snappy character dialogue. Cons: -- You will fight the same bosses at the end of each area every time. - Relics are effective but their overall count seems quite low. Summary: CC is an enjoyable, though somewhat shallow, experience. I enjoyed my time with it, and am happy to move on having finished the memory sequence. This game doesn’t reach StS-levels of greatness in terms of quality or replayability, but then again not every game should be expected to. Pick this up on sale and you should be fine if you enjoy games in this genre. Overall: 7.5/10
Awesome game, great for the $8 I paid. FTL meets StS.
很不错的小品卡牌游戏,虽然不是很平衡但是很有趣
One of the most fun deckbuilders I've ever played. it might be my favorite one? it would at least be a close race. Having all of your cards tied to moves that your ship actually does, and having them all feel like they have a physical tangible effect you keep track of in a physical plane in the game, and not just abstract numbers is one of my favorite takes on the genre. the dialogue was actually really good! I was expecting to maybe not like it in the first few minutes, but after i got enough interaction I completely flipped to wishing more games sounded like this, since this is way a lot of people i know talk. and the personalities are well written, and the jokes often land for me. i really liked the way you discover more about the story and characters too.
the little talking animals add a ton of personality
