Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Gameplay Mechanics: 6/10 Narrative: 6/10 Graphics: 5/10 Sound and Music: 5/10 Replayability: 7/10 Innovation: 6/10 Civil War II by AGEOD is a deep-cut wargame focused on the American Civil War, designed for serious strategy fans who are more interested in military planning than flashy visuals or accessibility. It’s a slow, meticulous experience—and one that requires patience. Gameplay mechanics are detailed but often feel sluggish and overly complex. Managing dozens of generals, units, and regions across a massive map can be rewarding, but the interface and pacing work against the experience. Battles resolve abstractly, with no tactical layer, and the learning curve is steep. Score: 6/10. Narrative is scenario-driven. There’s no personal story, but the historical events, decisions, and flow of the war do a good job of grounding the game in its time period. Score: 6/10. Graphics are basic. The map looks like a digital board game, and unit counters and visuals are minimal. It’s clear, but it won’t impress anyone aesthetically. Score: 5/10. Sound and music are underwhelming. The game has minimal atmospheric sound design—enough to support the theme, but not memorable. Score: 5/10. Replayability is solid. With several scenarios, alternate strategies, and the ability to play as either Union or Confederacy, there’s room for repeated playthroughs—especially for history fans. Score: 7/10. Innovation is modest. The simultaneous turn system and historical decision mechanics add depth, but the core gameplay doesn’t break new ground. It mostly builds on AGEOD’s previous titles. Score: 6/10. Bottom line: Civil War II is a love letter to hardcore wargamers, but it’s not for everyone. If you’re into deep, historically accurate simulations and can handle its slow pace and dated UI, it’s a rewarding experience—but one with a narrow audience.

Great strategy game, with focus also on logistics, generals and army organization not just numbers.
Takes a while to get used to the combat system but interesting strategic outcomes possible
Great tactical simulator; have found none better.
one of the worst user interface ever tried, no infos you can easily find (and most of them you can't find even on the game manual), very long learning curve and tutorial almost useless.
I'd say this is a really good game, and it is, but you really need to be in the mood for it and be of a particular persuasion when it comes to Turn Based Strategies.
