Circadian Dice is a game inspired by single-player deck-building games, but instead of upgrading a deck, you build up a set of dice! Use 10 different heroes and 60 game-warping relics to take on 13 hand-crafted scenarios, in runs that take 10-30 minutes. Lots of secrets and unlocks to discover!

While I think the core concept of this game is fantastic on paper. I absolutely love the dice upgrade system and how it can be done on the fly. In reality this game just didn't hook me. Its hard to explain why. I'm a big fan of similar games in this space. I'd highly recommend Roguebook, Slice and Dice, Dicey Dungeons, Slay the Spire, Monster Train but this one just didn't connect with me on the level of any of those games. Sorry I can't really put into words why. Its not like this is a case where there's obvious flaws in the game design. The only thing I actively dislike is the streak system but that's not enough to ruin the game. The game gives you plenty of choices to make in a run and they give some nice variety in the encounters...there's a lot that works here but I don't have that drive to play all the content with all the classes. It feels more like a grind than joy to me after the initial charm of the game wore off. This game isn't for me...but people clearly love it and some have hundreds of hours in it. The game is super cheap too. I'm not here to discourage people from taking a chance on it...just sharing my experience with it. 5/10. Not for me.

I bought three different rouge-like-ish games during the spring sale of 2026. This game was the ugliest and the least discounted. This was still the cheapest one though. I ended up refunding the other two games because this was just leagues better. It's much more fun, the runs are pretty short. Circadian Dice proves that gameplay trumps everything else in the end. A bit similar to the mobile game Slice & Dice which I absolutely adore.
this is an incredibly fun game that is truly hidden gem. its a shame more people dont know about it. super fun dice face changing broken build mechanics with an insane amount of content and soooo much to unlock, all thru normal progression.
Dice game (obviously) with a lot of variety.
a good game for podcast in the background
A dice game with many strategic choices, the gameplay is really well thought.
boring
Such a simple concept that has maximal replayability and longevity. Well recommended for the price!
Only down side is being too RNG dependant.
Przyjemna wciągająca gra z tego gatunku.
