Reviews
The story mode was enjoyable and casual play is fun. But the game does an incredibly ♥♥♥♥ job of explaining its loads of niche, including some character-specific, interactions that will absolutely ruin your 2+ hour run under instant save mechanics. It is an incredibly frustrating experience when trying something new and attempting to perform at a reasonable level if you expect experience from other games to carry over. Other commenters have compared this to Slay the Spire; I disagree. This is a totally different style of "deckbuilder" game that is more akin to levelling up in an RPG game and getting new skills than building a deck, since you always have a fixed number of skills and a certain number of them available to you at all times. The game's UI and overall polish need a lot of work and are solely lacking compared to other games in the genre, but it's still a good run.
This may geniuenly be the best deckbuilder I ever played I have no idea how this game is not bigger but the mechanics are deep, the bossfights intersting and the story immaculate

好
Very good roguelike deckbuilder. Every character has at least a couple distinct playstyles and many have very unique mechanics. Boss battles often also have unique puzzles that play out in a way that works well with the systems. The story also takes many twists and turns, playing out fairly seamlessly as you continue the game. Overall, I very much enjoyed it - especially the fact that there is a story and ending(s). With roguelikes, I often find myself burning out since there is no direction, but the inclusion of the story really helped keep me on track. I can also tell that there is incredible depth for advanced deckbuilding and challenge runs, and appreciate that the game is that deep. Great game.

One of the cleverest, most intriguing deck builders I've ever played, hands down. Come for the fun card mechanics and characters, stay for the ever-unravelling story and the great feeling of making constant progress towards solving it.
Story I am usually impatient with dialogues in roguelite/deck builder games, but this story was really interesting and immersive. The conversation with allies resonates to lots of daily life and the people around me. I can't say I fully understand all the details and plots, but the emotions are really heavy. Reminds me some of the Black Mirror episodes and few movies like ex machina. Playthrough Gameplay itself was also top-tier. Attracted by the art in the first place, but got engaged with the play style itself. I don't remember when is the last time I have to pay attention and read carefully of all cards and status to win a game. This game requires that, and if done well, its pretty exciting and rewarding. The freedom to try different combo was not bad, and it was not easy to keep track of all the mods/upgrades sometimes, which is why it's fun and engaging. After beating the first ending, I feel I am still just scratching the surface of the game. Visual/Audio All the music are bangers, except some of the boss fight ones, too heavy on the electronic dupstep makes it a little distracting sometimes. But the rest are well made. Illustrations was really great, I do wish there would be more illustrations and a gallery sort of. Shout out to the character designer, blows my mind that so many cool and relatively new combinations of character concept were found in this game. Complaints Personally, I find the Mandarin translation was a bit confusing. I know its a part of the design, but having to memorize what each monster's moves are was not fun. The pause when using a campfire was weird. Mysterious scrolls seemed too frequent.
游戏性和剧本都相当优秀的游戏,我心目中的神作。
