Aurora, a young girl from 1895 Austria, awakens on the lost fairytale continent of Lemuria. To return home she must fight against the dark creatures of the Queen of the Night, who have stolen the sun, the moon and the stars. At stake is not only Lemuria, but Aurora’s true destiny.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I can't believe I let this MASTERPIECE sit in my library unplayed for over 10 years. Wonderful on Steam Deck.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Child of Light is an amazingly good JRPG platformer. Even a decade after release, the visuals, soundtrack, and general atmosphere are amazing. The skill trees and gem upgrades are also straightforward, but welcome, and there are some interesting quirks in combat tied to the floating light companion that you control independently. It's set up as a fairy tale, so there isn't a lot of dialogue outside of some minor rhymes, but the game also doesn't drag on unnecessarily. Only one company could stumble on to such a wonderfully unique game and then refuse to make any follow ups while Ubisofting their way through Mixed review release after release after release in the same few tired franchises. Yikes.
So I just finished this game And to me it became another beast I had to tame Yeah if you can't tell This story, boy what a tale It has driven me up the wall With all the rhyming that was there and that sure as hell not all I actually enjoyed this story honestly with the way it sounded like a faerie tale and as a writer, I do enjoy a good fantasy every now and then. For the hours I dumped in this game and much posting I've done, it was time well worth spent and my poetry kinda felt increased by it. So if you like RPGs with a classic faerie tale feel, it's worth the time and as for the price? It's worth a steal!
This game is perfect if you like adventure and quests, also magic. The beautiful watercolor landscapes and the music is fasinating, I really recomend this game!!
[ENG] "Aurora, what is love known by?" "When it hurts to say goodbye." Child of Light is like a playable storybook. With its beautiful watercolor art and told entirely in rhymes, the tale follows Aurora, a little girl who was reborn in the magical kingdom of Lemuria, in her quest to find her way back home. From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, through the Sun, the Moon and the Stars, Aurora is able to learn more about this world, befriend an unique cast of characters and grow. And when feelings are too overwhelming, she plays a familiar tune with her flute. This game has been a personal favorite of mine since childhood, I hope my love for it can come through with my review. As previously said, the game has gorgeous art made to mimic watercolor. Soft colors bleed into each other in the background, with Aurora's signature red hair flowing with the wind like part of a painting herself, giving an unique, dreamlike feeling to it. The designs come through as part of a wonderful fairytale, with many different races, from clowns flying in hot air balloons to mice-people traveling on the back of a giant, inhabiting Lemuria. Each area of the kingdom is unique and so are the enemies, with designs that not-so-subtly give hints on their weaknesses. The soundtrack is one of my favorites ever made, with its use of piano, flute, strings, trumpets, and choir, bringing a lonely and melancholic soundtrack that slowly gives into a more optimistic tone, light and hope always being able to find their way into it. Much like Lemuria has fallen into the darkness of the Queen of the Night but the Child of Light can bring hope back to the kingdom little by little. They're memorable songs you might find yourself humming outside the game without noticing. The gameplay is simple yet complex. It is turn-based, with each character having their own role and a huge skill tree to unlock throughout the game. You're able to put gems in different slots in order to give special effects to the characters, from infusing an element to being able to move your enemy back on the timeline, giving you different ways of using each character. It's not too hard of a game, but it could become challenging if you don't take your battles seriously. As for the story, it is fairly simple but powerful nevertheless. The tale of a girl bringing light to a fallen kingdom, bringing day to this endless night. A tale of love and hope despite the hardships in your journey, of miracles and sacrifices, of rebirth and growing up. It reads as a poem written in ballad form, almost every character speaks in rhymes, with lovely lines like the one quoted in the beginning. It's a story made with love that I believe everyone should be able to experience at least once in their lifetime. However, as I'm writing this Child of Light is 10 years old. Many people have already been saying this: Ubisoft does not care about that game or their older games in general. Some haven't even been able to play it because their launcher refuses to open the game. One of my previous playthroughs had a game-breaking bug that crashed my game every time a specific character spoke. This game is dying and I'm unsure if I can recommend you buy it from a company that does not care about it. But please, experience it some other way if you're interested in it. --- [PT-BR] "Aurora, do amor, qual é o efeito?" A gameplay é simples porém complexa.
