Aurora, a young girl from 1895 Austria, awakens on the lost fairytale continent of Lemuria. To return home she must fight against the dark creatures of the Queen of the Night, who have stolen the sun, the moon and the stars. At stake is not only Lemuria, but Aurora’s true destiny.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
A blend of a platformer with RPG element and turn-based combat +++ innovating combat gameplay --- you need ubisoft connect - i dont like the goofy world and artstyle BUT i still recommand for the only goal of experiencing this interesting gameplay !!
Overall fun game. Good mechanics, design, story, good controls

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Short Summary
A stunning interactive painting powered by a satisfying, albeit simple, combat loop. While the forced rhyming scheme often stumbles, the visual journey acts as a perfect RPG palate cleanser.
Who Is This For?
Fans of aesthetic-first gaming and the Grandia combat system looking for a low-stress weekend adventure.
Who Is This Not For?
Min-maxers seeking deep customization or poetry enthusiasts who understand meter and rhyme structure. Utilizing the UbiArt Framework, the game presents Lemuria as a living watercolor painting where every frame is worthy of a gallery mount. The auditory experience matches the visual fidelity; Coeur de pirate’s piano-driven score does the heavy lifting for the emotional beats, grounding the fantastical setting in a somber, beautiful reality. It is a rare instance where "style over substance" is not a pejorative, but the primary selling point. Beneath the artistic veneer lies a competent homage to the JRPGs of the 90s, specifically the timeline battle system of Grandia. Combat is a rhythmic exercise in interruption. You manage a casting timeline, racing to strike enemies during their "casting" phase to reset their turn. This is augmented by Igniculus, a controllable firefly who can slow enemies or heal allies in real-time. It is tactile and engaging, turning standard turn-based encounters into active management puzzles rather than passive menu navigation. However, the experience is best consumed as a dessert rather than a main course. The RPG systems are shallow; linear skill trees offer illusionary choices, and the equipment system (Oculi crafting) is rudimentary math. Furthermore, the narrative is hampered by a commitment to an AABB or ABCB rhyming scheme that frequently sacrifices coherence for the sake of a rhyme. The writing often feels like doggerel, straining to fit a meter that isn't quite there. Despite the narrative stumbling blocks and lack of mechanical depth, the package works because it respects your time. It does not overstay its welcome. It provides a focused, beautiful 10-hour loop that satisfies the itch for progression without demanding a month of your life. It is the perfect "snack" game to cleanse your palate between heavier, more demanding titles.
This game is my childhood. The music, especially, is actually beautiful. Child of Light has the best OST of any game that I've played. The style is also so pretty, and I love how the dialogue is a poem. It's a pretty fast playthrough if you don't focus on any side quests, but it's worth your money.
Beautiful adventure with gameplay that you can enjoy together with your child (or just on your own). The adventure is quite linear, which in a game like this is a plus I would say. It's like playing a storybook and the turn based battles are well balanced and you have time to explain what the different skills and attacks do rather than having to "take over" battles because it's too difficult or fast for a younger player.
been waiting 11 years worth it!
Game runs smooth on console (PS4), but for some reason it never gets to the menu without crashing. I even tried all the "solutions" and none worked. I hope that they fix this, but given its a game through Steam, I won't hold my breath.
I know I'm late reviewing this but CoL has been sitting in my library for a long time and I recently knocked it out. I'm glad I did because it is a fun game to play. Keep in mind this game is over 10 years old, so I would consider it pre-DEI. Yes the lead character is a girl and there are plenty of other female characters but it is not a woke game, and there is an actual story here that some thought was put into, and I would argue this is one of the last good efforts form UbiSoft before the gaming industry started to lose it's mind. That having been said it is just a fun game. If you like turned based RPGs and want to play an interesting take on that genre then check this one out. Time for me to dust off another old one from the library, cause the gaming industry these days needs some help.
