Child of Light

This game is my childhood. The music, especially, is actually beautiful. Child of Light has the best OST of any game that I've played. The style is also so pretty, and I love how the dialogue is a poem. It's a pretty fast playthrough if you don't focus on any side quests, but it's worth your money.

This game simply is not for me, so while I can't personally recommend it, I don't feel it's fair to give it a thumbs down either. I did find the story, the style, the characters, and the world to be quite charming, but quickly became bored with the progressions. I did not finish the game, and probably won't, but if you're looking for something with signature style, a simple but uplifting story, somewhat engaging puzzles, and a fun combat system where you can also level up characters, give this a shot.

Slow to start but ultimately fantastic

Really bleak this doesn't seem to be working on my windows 11 PC. I played this on the Xbox and absolutely loved it. I wish Ubisoft would make more games like this and churn out less games that are clear cash grabs and low quality. Like I click on the developer and see the nth game of a series that has mixed reviews instead of a variety of positively rated games with real heart and story. The storytelling in this game is amazing and the art is beautiful. I really felt like I was inside a fairytale. The rhyming was also super cute. Soundtrack was also brilliant. Honestly an amazing game. Sbwl to be able to play this game again :(
