Aurora, a young girl from 1895 Austria, awakens on the lost fairytale continent of Lemuria. To return home she must fight against the dark creatures of the Queen of the Night, who have stolen the sun, the moon and the stars. At stake is not only Lemuria, but Aurora’s true destiny.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

While exceptionally beautiful visually, the gameplay loop isn't super fun, and is incredibly slow and repetitive. I also don't like the rhyming thing but appreciate the effort.
The artstyle and the soundtrack of this game shall not be missed out on!! The story is very good too as you go on with Aurora's adventure back home with her fellow friends. It gives you a very unique fairytale rpg that gives you the vibe of a tale straight out of a storybook. I've actually played this game years ago when i was around 7 to 12 years old, it very much is a part of my childhood and i wished more people sought this gem out. The battle mechanics are pretty simple, You will have no troubles if you know how to play turn-based games since this is also one. I've still haven't moved on from the OST, it gives you these epic orchestrated tunes that will uplift what you feel in certain scenarios. There's no voice acting which is not an issue since this game is out there killing the storybook vibes. Each character have their stories too, i particularly like how they explore dark themes while keeping the game pretty tame for the general audience. I miss this game and want to encourage people to play this experience. As others have reviewed this game does have a couple of flaws and crashes going on around, but even with those downsides this game is a very nostalgic factor in my life. I'll awknoledge it's flaws alongside my love for this game. It's just as poetic as how you imagine someone disappearing as fast the speed of light is.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This one is a tale of good and bad. I was right on the fence of thumbs up vs thumbs down. I tossed a coin and got tails, hence the rating. The art is beautiful water colors that stand out compared to a lot of AA games. The world in general is an interesting place to explore and I do enjoy the little metroidvania puzzles, though this element of the game is sadly underutilized. The music is great. Its emotional, catchy, and fitting. Those are the good aspects. They are quite good, but sadly they can't carry the entire game. The combat is something I started out liking and became a little indifferent to. The problem with it is that you only get 2 character in battle at a time. You can change them at any time, but having only 2 on screen at one time kind of limits how interesting I think the strategy could be. As it is, you basically just swap in the characters with slow and re-apply it every few turns. I like the Grandia turn order/cancel mechanic, but the game punishes you for using it by giving many enemies counters to being cancelled, which kind of negates the purpose of using it. So I would say, good concepts with lacklustre execution. The characters are as bland as can be. They each have one note and little dialogue to expand. Its a small, short game, so I don't really care that much. The problem for me is that they haven't made the main quest interesting enough for me to care who goes on it, so the near blank slates kind of bother me more than they normally would. That being said, the story is kind of just fine. It's there and takes me through the game. My biggest issue that takes me right out of the game is the dialogue. It spends its time rhyming, which was interesting for a minute...and then got annoying. To make matters worse, the dialogue was also mostly trying to be poetry. It's not quite Shakespearean dialogue, but its leaning on the idea of trying to be overly flowery and that is the fastest way to take me out of a story. I love the use of colorful language in the descriptions in novels. I can't stand it in dialogue. I can't feel the emotion of the words when I am too busy trying to decipher what is being said. It's the same thing with having a really deep message inside a story. I love that, but I'm not going to even notice it if the surface level story doesn't interest me. I need the surface level content to hook me so that I can enjoy my time with the story enough to dig deeper. This also works with music. If I like the sound of music, I'm much more likely to try and learn the lyrics and appreciate them. If you have a brilliantly written song that doesn't sound good to me and I don't enjoy the experience of listening to it, then I'm never going to want to learn the lyrics to unpack their meaning. Sorry for rambling, but I wanted to articulate that as clearly as I could. TL:DR It's a pretty game with nice music, dialogue that didn't allow me to get into the flat characters or pretty basic narrative. However, at least the world was fun to explore even if the combat system felt poorly actualized. It's kind of a mixed bag.
apesar de ser curto, é bom.
Child of Light feels like it has a great story to tell, with many fantastical-looking characters and an unmistakable rustic storybook look and feel throughout the game that really does justice to what I hoped from it. Unfortunately, the story itself feels shallow and generic, and the many characters with their fun and whimsical designs have stories written as shallow as grating my ear on a cheese grater. Aside from this combat, it just feels too easy, requiring almost no grinding until it does at certain bosses with huge stat walls for HP bars. This makes for an unfun experience in combat combined with the mediocre execution of the gem system, infusing your attacks with elemental powers that make you deal either big damage to the enemy or none at all. With what just feels like a pain to use equipping system can just suck the joy out of any of it, any of the decent gem layouts for which you will have to find chests supposedly hidden around the map as well as a "Where's Waldo" book containing none of the other side characters to obstruct your search, are just what feels like a boring take on a rock-paper-scissors mechanic. The absolute best aspect that struck me from the trailer was the unique-looking combat system revolving around timed turn-based combat, where you can interrupt your opponents' attacks by timing your party's moves. Sadly, this mechanic becomes mostly useless when they implement mechanics where almost every enemy will have some type of counter effect to you executing this maneuver, to the point where sometimes it's not even worth it as the backlash becomes bigger than the gain from the interruption. Making one just want to hold their turn, which sadly the game doesn't account for, so you just end up wasting your attacks, blocking or doing passive moves to stall to prevent getting hit by the backlash from the counters. Overall, I would not recommend this game and suggest one look elsewhere for any semblance of enjoyment.

My six years old daughter says its her a favorite game, because it has a female protagonist. There are few game for kids where you can play with a female protagonist. This game will likely be too boring and basic for adults compared to platformers like Rayman or western RPGs, This is a poor coop game, so don't buy it for that.
Valve...what are we doing here? You have (rightly) shut down less scammy scams than this.
The game is absolutely beautiful, the art , the music, and the story . However, I couldn't finish it due to the technical issues I experienced with this game. Launching the game was a horrible experience and playing it is worse, it keeps kicking me out of the game constantly. Save your time and money and find another game until they fix this problem.
