This game has a HUGE BUG, and no fix until now. It`s so frustrating that your Analyzer and Portal Generator is missing every almost every time when you start a new mission or load a save/checkpoint. Without your Portal Generator , you cannot go back to your base. This is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frustrating.... so yeah, until a fix is done , I will stand my choice with my answer "NO!"
Game seems interesting, but it has an absolutely garbage save system. Its even worse than an old console checkpoint system because the game has options to manual save and has a quick save function. However, both just make a new save at the last auto checkpoint. So even after manually saving, when you load the manual save you will just be back at the last checkpoint and anything you did since then is just gone and you have to redo it anyway...

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I loved playing this game. Dont go in expecting STALKER, this is not STALKER, this is entirely its own thing, please keep that in mind, do not compare them. Also, the DLC is 90% cosmetic items that are unnecessary, so only buy those if you reeeeally want to. That said, this game respects your time, is a smidgeon janky and just a little repetitive, but ultimately it keeps you wrapped up and interested right up until the very end with a good characters, story, gameplay, visuals, all of it. This is a great little game. Highly recommended. Editing my review: Wanted to mention how respectful the game is to the disaster of Chernobyl and its victims. There's an entire 'Tour the Zone' mode that features accurate information about the disaster and lets you see the photo-scanned areas around Pripyat in high detail. I love this game.
At first I was afraid this would be another survival crafting game taking place in Chernobyl. Thankfully, crafting is limited to few crafting stations, you can build new weapons, ammo, armor.... and also some beds and comfort items for companions. There is nicely made story that kept me going, wanting to see the mystery and conclusion. Also the areas are not too big, just big enough for some exploration and taking everything that isnt nailed down. The graphics are beautiful and the game has a lot of atmosphere, so a thumbs up for me.
It's similar to Stalker in its setting and some themes but that's where the connection ends. Not saying that's a good or bad thing. There is a whole lot of "bad" with this game though. The same 7 (I think) maps are reused over and over for the missions. They aren't even that big. By mid-game, you'll have a weapon that has infinite ammo and can decimate any enemy with ease. I used stealth to conserve ammo and resources in the beginning but gave up once I figured out the infinite ammo upgrade. Shooting enemies damages your sanity but that mechanic is irrelevant due to the abundance of sanity healing items you find on enemies you kill. The stealth kill animation is long and glitchy so it's a chore to watch. Also, there's enemies immune to stealth kills so you are forced to not do stealth anyway. The game makes the mechanic irrelevant. You have companions who train you to level you up, and each training is a little minigame/cutscene. Most perks you get are not worth sitting through that. I ended the game with around 15 skill points that I just didn't want to bother using. I enjoyed the base building system and the map design is pretty, you just stare at the same few maps for the entire game so it gets old fast. Most of the little systems in the game are made irrelevant by either how little reward they provide or how tedious they are. It's mid at best.
Personal Rating: Mostly Positive (75%) I was ready to fire a negative review on this, but it's actually pretty good. Graphics looks phenomenal and the game does not stutter much. It holds that 60FPS even on Ultra settings. My only complaint is that the maps in the ''Free Play'' mode are bit too small to do something big, and in 30 minutes, you are pretty much done exploring everything. Then the weapon selection is also kinda wonky. But other than that, this game is pretty good, especially if you get it on sale, like me.
Nobody will read my review so I will eat 3 tablespoon of mustard for every like this gets.
I spent a lot of time debating about finishing this game because there came a certain point where I didnt care anymore. There is sooooo much diolauge like non stop talking from the characters that I mentally checked out. Yes cool world building, but don't narrate every little thing to me. Let me figure some stuff out with context clues. I literally didn't care about the characters in the end, I just wanted to finish the game. I don't think I'll ever replay it, and a lot of stuff is... eh.
