Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well, I´ve put 22 hours in the game so far, and i really like the game. You have to really pay attention to tutorials and experiment a bit, but isn´t impossible to understand. I enjoy the dynamics and restaurant mechanic to cook or decorate. and I´m anxious to see more. The NPCs are really cute/interesting, though the relationships surely need more "deep" in future updates, I hope. Still, the main thing (manage the restaurant, cook and find recipes, gather ingredients, look the weekly recommendations, etc) are enjoyable to me. The fact that the market zones don´t sell the same every day adds a bit of "difficulty" (so you need to plan early), and the machines you eventually unlock to make flour, etc, are useful too! Defintely waiting to see more content in the future, and languages too, so the gameplay time is more balanced, since so far everything goes around the restaurant and the town/NPCs need a bit more (though i find this understandable ofc).

Played this when it originally came out in early access and it lost my attention after a few hours of gameplay. Decided to give it another go after the Tidehaven update- I've had a pretty stressful couple of weeks and needed a cozy game to play. I've absolutely loved it! I'm sad that I've reached endgame, but I'm looking forward to the future updates and release.
Okay, after finally finishing the main storyline and most of the achievements, I believe I've completed the game. POSITIVES- 01 - great art style, loved the interactions with the NPCs the most because they basically just ignore you or insult you, and it's refreshing. 02 - The overall map is easy to navigate, and I love fast travel the most. 03 - restaurant expansion perks – I like how with expansions the game does make it easier, especially with the hands-off perk and automation of the minigames the most. 04 - events, actually fun and a quick way to get social points and build relationships for me for someone who always leads the social aspect at the end of the game. 05 - new updates: the house made me buy the game because I did not like the hotel system, and knowing you can upgrade and research was a cool concept too. Knowing that there are going to be more areas opening up, I hope the next few updates are much more like this. NEGATIVES- 01 - For some reason the game changes colours in between a lot, and I don't mean it like when it goes from morning to evening; it just happens randomly at any time, and I can't find a solution for it. It just turns different forms of yellow and back to fully bright vivid colours again, and it gives me headaches, as well as when you run as your character, the entire game on the screen shakes. Eventually I got used to it, but it made me really nauseous, so I had to quit playing the game for a bit. 02 - This is a little later in the game. I do really find it annoying that you can't leave the restaurant at any point. Like, I feel like when you have maxed out in the game, you are literally the best chef you could be with the best staff, so at the point, let the chef leave mid-service. It gets frustrating knowing that all of that work building up led to basically nothing at the end. OVERALL - The game is great as a comfy, cosy game. I would recommend playing it if you don't mind a bit of the unpolished stuff. It's a great time killer, and I had a lot of fun playing it regardless of the negatives.
Funblender's rating (as of 0.8 EA): 7.4/10 So much potential here. While I definitely get a similar feel to some other popular farm sim-adjacent titles. New kid in town, make friends, revitalize. But the cooking here shines. I love the ability to pick the menu, hunt for items, and overall farming, fishing and communicating is fun. However, if I gotta nitpick (and I do): - The mining seems overall kind of pointless. Its usually the first thing I get sick of in these games. However, I will say it is minimal so far compared to similar titles. I wish it would just go away, I dont understand much of its relevance here. - The mini-games feel slightly too much sometimes. I know they can be turned off, and I dont think its that. I think... they feel slightly too lengthy. Dpad games I get but they are hard to manage as set up. I think single dpad presses in faster sequence would be easier than double-directions. It just feels like its almost working against you. There's a great story here, and Tidehaven is a great addition. I've played as far as I can and I'm impatient to finish it, so it must be a good game! I hope the work continues!
Im decently far into the game and I think the game is great there are a couple issues but overall its a good game that balances the cooking and rpg(hence the name) well Good things: -management is fun and engaging -cooking mini games are fun and auto cook is really useful -the skill tree is super rewarding and makes doing anything worth it -befriending the villagers is crucial to progression and dosnt feel like something you do just for the 100% completion -pretty artstyle, character models, and landscapes -decorating is fun and really end depth -constant content being added -story is intresting unlike many story's in the genre i actually enjoyed this one so far (Im on act 3) -lots of stuff to do doesnt feel like your just doing stuff to pass the time Cons: -befriending people is really easy if you talk to them for like 3 days (rough estimate) they will reach close friends -crafting was hard to figure out since crafting makes you go to the shop keeper to craft instead of using the work bench in your house (still dont know what thats for) -farming just sucks in general and feels like a waste of time -mining also kinda sucks If there were actual monsters in there that attacked you it would be way more fun instead of running through the same cave everyday looking for ores -fishing goes from really hard to really easy the second you get a rare+ rod -not enough fish+animals it would be cooler if there was more fish and 1 or 2 more and animals Things I want to see in the future: -Farming rework (some kind of automation) -Better foraging (more areas to forage more items to collect etc) -monsters to fight in the mines and or other areas -more weapons and weapon skills (make it feel more like an rpg) -more story -more character quests and cutscenes currently characters dont feel alive and most dont have a real set personality -more content in general so like more skills, items, recipes, upgrades, and anything that gives you more to do Conclusion: Chef rpg is currently one of the best chef games out there and is worth the money. It has some issues but is still fun and fills its purpose much better than taverns rest (its competition) does. All in all, the games a solid 8.5/10
