About
Chaos Warrior is a retro JRPG inspired by the NES era. Fight deadly monsters, explore dangerous locations, and gain the strength to become the hero that saves the world!
100 years ago, the Chaos Lord emerged and wrought death and destruction to all. A band of heroes rose and defeated the Chaos Lord, banishing him from this world with a magic crystal. Now the Chaos Lord has returned and it falls to you to defeat him once again. Finn, a young Knight of the Kingdom of Efenia, is tasked with collecting the Crests from each of the 3 Kingdoms in order to unlock the power to defeat the Chaos Lord.
Engage in traditional JRPG turn based combat as you explore the world, gaining levels, abilities, weapons, and armor in order to fight stronger monsters as you journey further in your quest. Along the way you'll meet new allies with unique abilities both in and out of combat and find optional side quests and dungeons.

pretty good
Very cool nostalgic RPG that felt familiar in the best ways. If you like old school JRPGs this is for you. 13 hours to beat and I'm pretty sure I did everything there is to do but it was fun all the way through and with a $5 price tag, completely worth every penny.
great game but super hard lol But over all recommended for those looking for a grind lol

A must-play for any classic JRPG fan. Takes obvious inspiration from Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy. Other than some spelling errors, it has a very polished feel!
This is a classic JRPG with many elements from Dragon Quest 1. It is less stingy on XP and Gold drops. The Thief is actually useful for farming gold. It is a good game at $4.99,
A good throwback to JRPGs of days gone by. Plays very much like the older NES era Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games in terms of combat and exploration and also has some neat sprite work and music. and for such a low price it's kinda hard to resist.
虽然没中文,但是基本上靠着任务指引也就顺着路跑就行了,下地洞别忘了点蜡烛,碰到高级怪打不过就先练级和换对应村子里的高级装备就行,很纯粹的一个老游戏
Very nice retro game if you like old rpgs
If you love old school NES JRPGs like Dragon Warrior, then this is right up your alley.
Frustrating but has a nice payoff if you stick with it once you start winning. NPC's can be unique, like the guy who trades spare equipment for accessories. The map helps bypass a lot of beef gates where you instantly get overpowered and die. Another NPC wisely advises to beware stronger monsters at bridges. The main payoff is just finding loot or learning a new ability after struggling to finally win. Poison is a pain too, and having the accessory that can prevent it helps once you level enough to mow down those enemies, rather than overpay 100 gold for an antidote (resting at an inn is a few gold and removes it). This is a nice experience for $5 but don't expect easy monsters in even the first dungeon if you're below level 5 or lack the best armor and weapons. I do like the battle presentation and animation like being cursed over my character. I am not sure if I'm the only one with this problem, but my other games can properly use steam recording when only game audio is selected, but this is mute and requires me to use all system audio, which distorts my sound. It also forgets my full screen settings upon reboot, but I believe things can get patched.
