Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 28 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

A dying city. A string of suicides. A detective with nothing left to lose.
Netherveil City eats the weak. Its streets bleed neon, its corpses crawl back to life, and its secrets? They'll gnaw through your sanity. Step into the worn boots of Detective Howard. Armed with a rusted badge, a sentient rose that won't shut up, and a pocketful of stolen dice.
Explore the city. Interrogate the dead. Expose the c*rpos.
Investigate. Make choices. Loot the dice. Roll the dice.
And survive. (Optional.)

Dice are oxygen. They keep you alive. Earn 'em, spend 'em, lose 'em. Hoard too long, and opportunities vanish. Roll recklessly, and resources burn.
There’s no perfect build. No power fantasies. Just survival... barely.

Your choices build character. Your character builds choices.
Intelligence picks locks in silence. Virtue pleads for mercy. Foolishness laughs at the abyss.
These fragments clash, corrupt, and rewrite your path mid-conversation. Choose your poison and deal with the consequences.

A hand-shattered art style. Where manga’s precision meets the raw nerve of American comics. Ripping pages from legends like Blame!, Biomega, Akira, and Berserk. Our artistry aims to evoke the same depth and intensity that made these series iconic.

Gear up for an auditory assault. Noir Jazz, Cyberpunk Techno, Death Metal. This isn't background noise. Sonic warfare.

Heroes don't last long in Netherveil. This is a manifesto for the forgotten, the erased, the expendable, those never given a chance. It’s about those who were never meant to survive, yet somehow still do. It’s about the existential terror of being alive in a world ruled by forces you can’t see. It’s about resistance.
“I’m here, and I won’t go quietly.”

There's a confidence to the presentation that I really like. It knows exactly what kind of game it wants to be and never tries to become something else. I feel like the kinda built this more around the visuals than the story itself. Not to say that's a problem or an issue overall, but it does feel very "art piece" forward and story second. Now for a game like this, perhaps it should be reversed where the story should lead and the art should complement it, but I couldn't code a "hello world" to save my life. you know there's nothign wrong with that approach and the visuals again have that authority and confidence, but it was something that stuck with me after playing
I ran out of dice so much that I soft-locked myself on the 2nd train cart. I feel like I missed out on a whole bunch of stuff but I know I went to every location. Guess being a nice person doesn't get you far in this world ^^; https://youtu.be/emDYGeZX7P8 I wasn't able to get to the end but from what I have seen I enjoyed it. I do have questions like why does DK never talk about her girlfriend again or the opportunities I missed and how someone would get them

I wasn't sold during the first twenty minutes, but somewhere along the way it clicked - can't tell you where and when, but it felt more like a gradual incline towards the hook itself. By the end I was already wondering what would happen if I'd made different decisions.
This game is very much "pay attention and you'll be rewarded." If you're the type that skips dialogue, you're probably missing half of what makes it interesting. If you don't like reading this literally is NOT the game for you.
This feels like the sort of game that gets better the longer you sit with it. I enjoyed it more near the end than I did at the beginning.
The environments have so many little details packed into them. I caught myself wandering around longer than necessary just because I wanted to see what else I'd missed.
It's refreshing to play something that feels like it has its own voice. Nothing here screamed "we copied the latest popular RPG."
Liked the game and it's aesthetic, would've like it was longer, but didn't subtract from the experience
Visuals are stunning, the music is great, the writing is awesome and gameplay is fun and simple! I highly recommend this game. It is Metis Creative's firtst video game, their experience with tabletop RPG content for Dungeons and Dragons notably shows!
