Cave Story+

[h3]Not my genre and I still played it twice[/h3] Charming, now-much-imitated art and music; a melancholic setting with the potential for hope. There’s a difficulty setting for most gamers, though the best ending may be out of reach. Like many players, I have found that improvements over the freeware version are dubious, however. In particular, I strongly recommend the original soundtrack (Organya) over any other version; it is the direct product of an unusually gifted musician who also understands what can make a chippy sound not be harsh on the ear. And you’re not going to hear bitonality of all things (and enjoy it) in most game soundtracks, that’s for sure.

After the new update, this version is amazing def worth it (if you have any further questions, just comment them)

Un Tremendo clásico de los indies, excelente juego sin duda

This is a classic. So much fun. I wasn't sure if I would like Cave Story. A lot of people told me to give it a try and I am happy I listened to them. If you like Metroidvania type games then get Cave Story.

잘먹고 잘살아라

A good game for what it is, a story driven Metroidvania. I had this game since 2012 in my library and slept on it until 2026. I enjoyed the weapons and level up/level down system as well as the teleporter. Not as easy to get lost like some ther games in this style. Overall holds up really well, worth a playthrough! Only minor negative is that you're very easily locked out of the "good ending" if you go in totally blind - and so you're pretty much forced to replay the game for it. Its a very minor thing, but for me I have such a backlog I can't be bothered to play games like this one more than once.
