i can finally write this a good review. nicalis has finally given it the respect it deserves with the most recent update. this is one of the best metroidvanias of all time. the story is adorable, the gameplay is incredible, the challenge is fair and there are multiple endings. some of the secrets can be a bit cryptic but if it means that much to you it's easy to follow with a guide. this game is a must have for anyone that enjoys retro games or metroidvanias.

The game is phenomenal. I played Cave Story 3D and had to get the PC version for myself, This game holds up really well and it makes sense why this game is one of the forefathers of Indie games. I highly recommend this to other people... if it displayed correctly on modern screens and was compatible with modern computers. Hell, my PC is from 2017 and the game doesn't even fit on the screen. The compatibility troubleshooter listed this game as an "incompatible program", and after having solved the issue, something happened to steam overlay and both my monitors freaked out switching from my desktop to a black screen and back forth. Cave Story+ is a fantastic game but it's messy to fix and make display properly. If you want to play Cave Story, I recommend you play it on anything else that's not PC. Play it on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, Wii. ♥♥♥♥, play the original 2004 game with the Aeon Genesis fan translation, etc,. Please Nicalis fix the display issues with this beloved game I beg you.
eu perdoo esse jogo por ele ter sido o primeiro indie (apesar de nn completamente), mas eu sinto mt em dizerq ele é injusto, é preferível lutar contra 4 radiancias de hk a enfrentar os bosses finais daqui, eles falam, e falam muito, diálogosq vc nn pode pular, e sem contar com o fato de ter 3 boss fights seguidas no final, sem direito a cura, talvez isso seja skill issue?? mas os bosses terem como bloquear totalmente o seu dano é ridículo, e não de um jeito bom, é frustrante e nn tem recompensaq explique isso

É um clássico dos indies, teve sua atenção quando foi lançado e na minha opinião, ainda merece MUITA ATENÇÃO. É um dos melhores jogos de plataforma 2D aqui na Steam, demora enjoar e tem uma historinha legal que te faz querer jogar mais e mais. Os personagens são muito carismáticos.
マルチプレイを目当てに購入しましたが、アップデートされたといいながらマルチプレイが出来なかったり、 代わりにシングルでやった分だと途中でラグがひどくなったりと、いささか対応が適当すぎるように思います。 このままだと、20年ぐらい前にタダで出たオリジナル版のほうがずっとよいかと思います。 改善されることを願っております。
