It is a very refreshing rehash of the monster collection genre with some very interesting battle balancing that allows for more intricate strategies (dog days + gambit/ghostly, or getting buffs to switch out to a new beasty). But to be honest the plot hast to be the highlight of the game, the "You/Humanity doomed yourself from the start" and/or belief == reality plot points really stuck with me, speacially the Morgante Gestalt, that if with unison we create ultimate evil, then with unison we can also destroy it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An awesome creature catcher game~ I do struggle with the platforming segments a fair bit, but all in all, still a fun game to play with loads of good designs and of course my beautiful game breaking build: Tactical Nuke. can't wait for the sequal~
7.5/10 Really solid game with an excellent soundtrack, the vocals are such a standout and make every fuse feel incredibly exciting. Got a little repetitive as I neared the end of the story, particularly once I'd felt like I'd seen most of what the combat system could do. But the combat system was a blast for most of my playthrough, and figuring out different move combos as well as finding different modifiers on stickers felt like a fun test of creativity. I personally didn't find the story all that engaging, mostly serviceable. Characters were fine as well, I didn't really connect with any of them beyond thinking some of them had a fun/cute vibe.

I was told to do this by a higher power. As of writing this, I am only missing two fights in the game to have finished, and this has been a very good game that I am excited for the sequel to. My favourite part was realizing that the "+X% per Empty Slot" sticker attributes were exponential due to each one being a unique multiplier onto a beast's stats, allowing me to create the worlds strongest Smogmagog I lovingly named Potemkin with a Ranged Defense of 2200 and a Melee Defense of 1700~. I do not think the +1 Slot and +X% per Empty Slot sticker attributes will survive in the game's sequel due to them basically allowing you to make brute force cheese strats on basically anybody, but this has ultimately been a wonderful little game that reminded me a lot of Shin Megami Tensei as well as the other more obvious creature collector in the room, a very solid game that I would reccomend for everyone to play if they enjoy games like SMT where you're allowed to tweak your beasts into horrifically overpowered nonsense that also have awesome designs. May Littlered be something I can get in the future title.
A very pleasant experience from beginning to end. My favorite things about this are the soundtrack, which I listen to it at least once a day, and the design of the creatures, very unique and charming considering the game also has a fusion mechanic and you can easily explore and experiment various synergies and elements. The story is quite simple in its execution and with its characters but I don't find it a bad thing. You are trapped in an island away from Earth with all the humans and you have the goal to escape and return home. In your journey you meet some characters who become your party members with their respective side quests and eventual romances if you're interested in that, even tho I didn't manage to do that with anyone because at the time I couldn't personally understand how the romance progression worked in order to advance apart from completing their side stories. The only downside of this game is not being able to switch cassettes on the fly with your partner and your deposit but you have to do it while you're resting in specific spots.
It's great, you should probably get it
Very good game; I prefer this art style over the sequel. It's basically a really good turn-based RPG monster-catching game with some unique elements.
Although the game was not really for me, a grindy combat with animations that could not be turned off I recognize it's a quality game with a lot to offer fans of the genre. The exploration is fun and feels great every time you catch a beast that helps you traverse the world in a new way.
