I love the vibe of this game: it feels like playing those old detective boardgames like Clue or Scotland Yard but with more refined gameplay. There is no randomness or trial and error. The logic puzzles are very creative. The artstyle is simple, minimalist, but highly polished. The characters are fun, with those cheesy, noir-style commentaries, and the soundtrack is great. It’s strange how a game that looks like a board game can be so immersive. Lastly, I loved the idea of the Secret Files as extra content. That's pure puzzling, plus the "metagame" of searching for codes throughout the game (and outside of it) to unlock more files is very smart. Definitely worth the buy!
I'd like to begin with the positives. There are 3 Cases across 15 levels with 15 hidden cats to find. There's suspects to talk to (although they only have a few lines of dialogue each), and there's clues to find throughout the small isometric levels and for those 15 Levels, for those 3 Cases? That's a phenomenal game! Then there's the "Secret Case Files". These remove your character, remove the physical suspects and turn this into just the baseline puzzles for you to solve with the clues. I'm going to start by saying - whoever collectively posted the codes to unlock the levels? You. Are. Gods. Aside from the 999 one I hadn't got a scooby doo. Also after a few secret levels I had lost any and all enjoyment or good will this game offered. Had it been more of the Case Files across 5 extra levels? Beautiful. I would've left a positive review, it would've been all rainbows and bubblegum castles, but the secret levels killed it for me. I cheated and used the guide just to get through them. They're awful. There's no fun anymore.

Tedious click-fest between the actual puzzles. Why dub the game in this "Sim"-like yibberish? It disctracts from the reading that you have to do anyway. 3rd Case has gamebreaking bugs. Game is very short. 3 Cases with 5 sub Puzzles each.

It is as thorough as expected.
After completing the first case I feel this game is really cute and fun but perhaps a little bit easy and thus quick to push through. For the price point however I can't argue too much with what it sets out to do as it achieves this nicely. There's 3 cases to play through and a bunch of other clues to unlock and find through them to gain access to secret files which is neat. It has a creative use of the Einstein riddle which made deduction of the evidence found to be a treat. So overall there's a lot to like just perhaps when being truthful and constructive it feels a little too easy to power through but I suppose this varies depending on the individual.
Fun but short little puzzle game. The main missions take about 1.5 hours to complete. There are still a lot of "hidden missions" to play on top of that, if you can find out the secret keywords to them. The secret missions do not always seem to load though, so that is an issue. But all in all, it's a fun game. Due to the short nature of the main missions, I would only recommend it during a sale and not for its full price.
Gostei muito! É tipo aqueles enigmas de lógica, mas com clima de detetive. Sentei pra jogar um pouquinho e o tempo voou. A arte é linda, tudo desenhado à mão.
Os puzzles desse jogo são muito bem pensados. É bem gostoso de jogar porque você realmente precisa pensar, o jogo te puxa pra pensar de verdade e dá aquela satisfação boa quando tudo se encaixa. Depois que você zera a campanha, ainda sobra bastante coisa pra fazer, porque tem um monte de caso secreto pra desbloquear. Então não acaba ali não, dá pra ficar mais um tempão resolvendo mistério. Fora isso, o clima do jogo é gostoso de curtir, visual desenhado à mão, aquele jazzinho tocando de fundo, clima noir, tipo um mistério "confortável" pra jogar de boa, no seu ritmo.

I also like the idea of hidden cases and extra challenges for players who enjoy exploring everything the game has to offer.
