This just isn't very good. Everything feels terrible to interact with. Especially the manual flying of helicopters and planes.
An absolute mess of a game that seems to have been abandoned. Even Carrier Deck is more polished. Includes such fun things like: -No map. -Being unable to automatically launch the helicopter to pick up downed pilots. -Being unable to use various controls while directly controlling anything (such as telling aircraft to land, upgrades, movement of the carrier and other units, etc). -Unable to switch back to the carrier unless the unit you're controlling is "close enough" to it. -Related to the last two, cannot access the in-game menu while directly controlling something. This snowballs into the issue of being unable to access the game's menu while directly controlling something. So if you need to use it while piloting a helicopter for instance, you have to fly all the way back to the carrier first. -Seemingly no control over launched aircraft aside from direct control (cannot tell aircraft to patrol near the carrier or to go out to engage enemies farther away). -Decoy aircraft? Seriously? -Hotkeys that do not work. The only interesting thing of note is a basic upgrade system. That's pretty much it. There's more but I'm just as done with this review as I am with this game. If you really want to play using an aircraft carrier, the Carrier Command games (Gaia Mission or Carrier Command 2 specifically) would be a better option. There's also Modern Warships and World of Warships for less detailed choices.

This game is HORRIBLE. It's about as user friendly as a user manual written in Chinese. It's boring, and it just... sucks...
