Yes, it's the game literally... SOME of you asked for! And so, in the spirit of "well, alright then, if you insist..." we present the third game in the Carmageddon series, in the knowledge that some of you Carma fans out there would like to have a complete Carmageddon collection in your Steam library. Nothing wrong with that.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

CARMAGEDDON 3 TDR 2000

THAT ONE
This is whats left of Carmageddon 3 TDR 2000. This version of the game is the most accessible, but only if you run the game in Linux or with a few settings disabled to ensure compatibility... This game is really just 'meh' Everything from game play to graphics is just mid, and its one of those games that really make you wish you could leave a neutral review. Positive and Negative doesn't really apply here... This Carmageddon was not made by the original team Stainless Games, and as such receives quite a bit of redheaded stepchild treatment from the community. And it kind of deserves it too... The graphics at the time were not special, and are 2000's crunchy but in a very strangely anisotropic filtered kind of way... The sound design works, but it mostly just the same few noises spammed over and over again. This was before RenderWare came about and really changed how sound API, sound fonts, and driver sets were implemented, so it just ends up lacking quite a bit of meaningful depth to the sound stage. The music from the original release wasn't really my jam, as it was just a mix of 6 or so techno tracks. This version of the game omits that, and leaves you with just the game ambiance and sound FX... The game play is much slower than the last Carmageddon game, which sucks, however, it lends well with the environments having less jagged edges that would cause the player to awkwardly struggle for traction. There is a story in the game, but you need to look it up because I simply didn't find it included with the game, or explained in the cut scenes. Basically, this is a lightly flavored romp based around 'Escape from New York' mixed with 'Road Warrior' kind of story. You are in a nuclear wasteland prison, and you want to escape the depravity. You escape, and bring destruction to the rest of the world via CARMAGEDDON in cars. Writing this was more exciting than focusing on the story...
+Pros
+Creative environments +Creative vehicle design +Free roam ability +Greater sense of vehicle traction and control over the last game +More detail over the last game in DirectX 7 mode
-Cons
-Frequent crashing to desktop, even on my original dual-boot system on Windows 98 and XP from back in the day -Sound design is an irritating mix of late 90's metal crunching and bass reverb FX -Awkward control scheme carried forward from the last 2 games -Modding capability, then and now, is difficult to get working right. 5/10 because it's just mid.
Terrible Diarrhea Racing 2000. Stick to the Stainless-developed ones. Everyone talks about how bad the mission levels are, and yeah they suck, but it's not like the regular open-ended levels are fun. Compared to the rest of the series, the car handling feels a lot more videogamey for lack of a better word. The first two games weren't exactly Gran Turismo but the cars had a feeling of weight and momentum to them which I think is important in a game about crashing into things. Even if you fixed all the other well-established gripes people had with this game, like getting rid of the missions and making the timer more generous and getting rid of the dumb hovercar added by the nosebleed pack, I just don't think it would be fun to play.
En mi opinión, el peor de toda la saga
