completing the main story took me 97 hours that I absolutely enjoyed. as a mild negative , merchants constantly being broke at the end of the game was annoying, other than this I think it's a perfect game that I'm glad I could finally support the author after so many years of enjoying caravaneer 1 in the flash era
This game is great. My bias is that I played caravaneer 1 when it was a browser-based flash game as a kid and I really enjoyed it, so my liking of Caravaneer 2 will always have a nostalgic factor to it. Even so, the game is worth it, if it's too slow paced at first and you get bored, I do highly recommend using cheat engine to "ruin" the game and get yourself to some of the fun mega-battles and end-game locations, because it really helps to smooth out some of the dated mechanics and gets you to the action packed strategy game. Frankly, the game can still be a challenging strategy game even WITH infinite money, so fire away!!

A true flash classic
经典中的经典
I do normally love these kinds of games. I was looking for something where you trade goods for profit. The storyline here is great too. Its just the battles, they get very repetitive and the consequences for taking a leg injury or something are immense, but this kind of thing happens randomly. It means you have to save scum a lot. I stopped before finishing despite liking so many parts of this.
capitalism, to a strange stage. there must have been a cataclysm, as the world as we know it has failed completely. lawlessness and mayhem spread throughout the Wasteland....and yet, one hero emerges. being the main character in this feature, you start with a good amount of $ as you arrive at the first large town in Alkubra Provence of Orth. you have some water and some food and a map, and not much else. you are alone, and there are others who want to take advantage of that. trade is the name of the game, so the first real action I'd advise would be to go to your inventory and READ THAT MAP. it will unlock other towns in the same province that you can begin your adventure in trade. but it will not be easy, as there are others who not only want your supplies and water, but your life! defend yourself as best you can from the Alkurbra bandits, who are often armed with swords or worse, rifles. do so smartly and with guile, you can then be able to recruit mercenaries who will assist you in your ambitions of expansion. eventually, trade to other regions and towns, face slavers and become an abolitionist, or not. if you deign yourself to be a big enough baddie, you could even take on the regional law enforcement, often at detriment to your reputation in trading with other towns. should you even deign it possible, you can begin a local business thus employing locals and producing wares for distribution and higher profits. overall, a very fun and replayable game that I first encountered on Kongregate many, many years ago. here's to your future success!
I like the game.
