Caput Mortum is a short first-person horror experience inspired by retro 3D dungeon crawlers and survival horror games. Delve into a tower of forgotten nightmares, where every step could be your last. Overcome horrors from beyond death and unlock the secrets of forbidden knowledge.
Close the lights, put on headphones, and immerse yourself in the game's macabre world. Behind every door lurks a new terror, and in every corner a key to some eldritch secret. Pay close attention to your surroundings, overcome unique puzzles, and piece together the events that took place within the tower. How deep are you willing to go, and what terrible truths will you uncover?
You must stay vigilant, as varied monsters roam the abandoned halls of the tower and won't hesitate to attack. Stealth past them, fight back, or perhaps... something else? Just be mindful of your health. There are only so many healing items in the game. This is old school, remember?
Play with a control scheme reminiscent of old-school dungeon crawlers that makes you feel more vulnerable, and control your right hand separately to interact with objects and attack creatures. Several control options are available!

Крайне коротенькое приключение в духе "Amnesia: The Dark Descent". Проходил на клаве вопреки рекомендации, но в целом не сложно представить, что максимум, что от контроллера можно получить - это подзатыльник в виде местной фауны пока заворачиваете за угол. В принципе жути наводит, но не дотягивает даже до "Пенумбры", хотя там тоже можно запинывать мобов. Она отлично бы зашла как мобилка, для компа слабовато. [h3]Брать строго по скидке.[/h3]

Excellent game with fun puzzles and exploration. I love the dark fantasy setting and using your hand to interact with things was a creative change of pace.
Very charming game with effective horror. Nice hand mechanic with weird but interesting gameplay. Too bad it's so short. It took me only 108 minutes to complete the first playthrough. I would love to play more of it.

Leans into the gimmick as fully as possible. Interesting worldbuilding. I have a bit of a feeling that it had unrealized potential, as if puzzles and interactions had to be dumbed down to reduce friction points. Can't help but wonder what they could have cooked up if they had the budget and time to polish up another hour's worth of content, then able to assume the player has mastery of the controls.
