Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A very fun and exciting arcade anime soccer game that will make you really feel like you're playing a soccer anime. The gameplay involves you controlling a whole team in a game of soccer. The game is not really interested in realism and/or realistic soccer gameplay, and as such may be a bit lacking for those looking for a more authentic soccer experience. However, if you can get beyond the inherent unrealisticness of it, the gameplay is very exciting and is very good at creating tense and hype moments as players do crazy moves to beat defenders and absolutely smash the ball into the goal. The game is a bit of a mix between soccer and JRPG mechanics, where each player has stats that dictate their effectiveness at certain things in a match. Players also have special skills, many of which are unique to themselves, that drastically influence how they do certain things in a match, such as dribble or shot skills. Many of the stats and skills revolve around a player's "spirit," which is sort of like their health or stamina, with careful management of a player's spirit being key to success. As such, actually playing a match feels like juggling the JRPG side of getting your players in positions to get favorable stat matchups and to utilize their skills to their highest potential and the soccer game side of outmaneuvering your opponents through smart passes and dribbling based on the state of the field. The game accomplishes this combination with great success, as the game feels much better than the sum of its parts. However, it may be important to note that the game's mechanics are actually somewhat unintuitive, so be sure to play through the game's (admittedly pretty terribly paced) tutorial. The game is also particularly good at naturally creating "anime moments," as the game likes to do fancy camera shots (kind of like manga panels?) and cinematic animations for game critical skills, which makes each match feel very exciting. The single-player part of the game consists of two main parts, each covering different story arcs. The first part has you playing as Tsubasa himself through a series of middle school champion games, which I believe is meant to be faithful to the source material. The second part has you playing as a custom character through an additional middle school championship and a following international championship. The custom character building is fairly well put together and has a decent bit of depth that can make it very fun to try and create different styles of characters with different strengths and weaknesses. The core idea is that your player grows after every match ("levels up") based on how well they did at certain aspects of the game. For example, if a player scored a lot of goals, their shot power will increase, or if a player had a lot of successful dribbling, their offense would increase. This can make each match feel engaging and tense even if the match itself isn't very difficult, as you're invested in doing the best you possibly can to increase your character's stats the most. Your character can also learn skills and abilities from increasing friendship levels with other players, with each level up having a little bonding scene where you get to see more of and learn more about different characters in the game. This last part may be especially interesting to anyone who is a fan of Captain Tsubasa (the property). My main criticism of the custom player mode is that, because you want to use your custom player for everything to get high stats, you kind of don't get to play with the rest of the team all that much. This can be especially an issue if there are some key story moments that you kind of just ignore by doing everything yourself, which can decrease your immersion and investment into the story quite a lot. I also have an additional criticism with how unforgiving the custom player mode can be regarding earning skills and stats. Since there's a fixed number of games, it is possible (and very likely) that you will miss out on getting skills that you want. There is no way to upgrade your character after the story mode is over, so you need to get everything you want in a single run. This can make the game feel pretty stressful in a negative way, as failing objectives can feel like you're losing a ton of time as you'd need to start a whole new run if you were unfortunate enough to be unable to reset the match. This also makes "close games" or poor player performances feel extremely bad, as it will permanently limit your player's stats going forward as you miss out on ability points, which I feel can turn what should be exciting matches into frustrating affairs. I'd definitely recommend that players use a guide to get skills they want after they've played through the game once and are building another character. I'd strongly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun arcade soccer experience. This is also definitely a must-play for Captain Tsubasa fans. However, I did not know anything about Captain Tsubasa coming into the game and I still had a great time with it, so I'd definitely encourage anyone who is interested in the game but is hesitant due to not knowing the franchise to give it a shot.
