About
Your journey begins on a remote island with a small crew of workers and a ship full of supplies. Mine raw materials, reshape the fully dynamic terrain, grow crops, build factories, and research new technologies. Expand across the island, lay rail networks, trade with distant settlements, and work your way up to nuclear power and space flight.
The entire terrain is fully dynamic. Every mountain can be flattened, every valley filled, and even the ocean can be reclaimed to expand the available land. Create open-pit mines to reach deep ore deposits, or dump excess rock into the ocean to expand your shoreline. Build ramps and slopes so your vehicles can reach any elevation.
Start simple with iron smelting, concrete mixing, and food processing. As you research new technologies, expand into oil refining, electronics, computing, and eventually rocket and space station components. Manage waste and pollution before they affect your people's health.

Trucks handle general logistics automatically, delivering products where they are needed most. Lay conveyor belts and pipes for high-throughput direct connections between machines. Build a rail network to move bulk cargo across long distances. Use amphibious vehicles and bridges to reach other islands.
Grow crops on farms and process them into food or industrial products. Supply fertilizers to boost yields and build greenhouses to grow more advanced crops. Your population needs housing, clean water, electricity, healthcare, and household goods. Keep them happy and healthy, and they will reward you with Unity, a resource that lets you speed up construction, enact powerful edicts, and claim resources on the world map. Neglect waste management or let pollution build up, and diseases will spread.
Send your ship out to explore the world map. Discover new islands with resources to import, refugees to rescue, and allied settlements to trade with. Establish shipping contracts for recurring exchanges, or negotiate quick trades when you need something fast. Your ultimate goal is full self-sufficiency: launch rockets, build a space station, and mine asteroids for rare resources that make your colony independent indefinitely.
Copy and paste parts of your factory, or save entire layouts as blueprints to reuse and share. Use planning mode to lay out designs before committing resources. Design your own island in the map editor and play it or share it with others. Or switch to sandbox mode where all buildings and resources are free, perfect for experimenting and learning.

One of the better 'factory games' I've played in the last few years. This definitely gets a place on my list of favs alongside Satisfactory, Factorio, and Dyson Sphere Program. The terrain deformation and logistics systems add layers of interest to the game, adding complexity to what would otherwise be fairly straightforward factory mechanics, and giving you more to do than just building endless mega factories for the sake of building mega factories.
This game is a hidden gem. As someone who has put hundreds of hours into Factorio, Satisfactory, Dyson Sphere, and Worker & Resources, I have to admit that it rivals the divine Factorio. The complexity of the recipes rises sharply over time, and there’s always a new challenge waiting for you. Every little detail you underestimate at the start will come back to haunt you later like a boomerang in the form of a collapsing supply chain. It’s wonderful :-) I don’t understand why some people complain about the paid DLC. There’s nothing in it that you absolutely must have—just a few locomotives that aren’t hard to do without. I was happy to contribute to further development. Yes, the game is in Early Access, but in terms of quality, it’s in a completely different league than AAA titles that may be in their full version but are riddled with bugs. I haven’t encountered a single serious bug the entire time—no crashes to the desktop, nothing. I’m satisfied. For everyone who enjoys Factorio and its clones, buy it and enjoy it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good game but they begged for positive reviews on the discord a few months ago
So, why a bad review? Simple. The game just isn't great. Is it terrible, no. Is it mediocre, most definitely. The problem it has is it's up against some stella titles out there and combines elements of quite a few, but just not as well. The title it's most like, that I have played, is Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, with a bit of Satisfactory and some Factorio. So whats bad? Well, straight off the bat it looks bland, I mean really bland. The terrain paints are basic and not much variety. The buildings, while somewhat detailed, are pretty boring, with generic models throughout. The menus are pretty awful, some of the menu groupings make little sense and some buildings lack labels in the description tools, so you have to figure out what they are, which is just tedious. The tutorials, while detailed, miss out the basics often and seem rushed in some cases. Luckily we have the internet to fill in the gaping holes. I mean I have built every building available to me in 6-7 hours and now just constantly have to wait for research to finish before moving on. Thats with redoing the build layout multiple times, just to maximise efficiency, building huge mines, crops and irrigation. Fuel for everyone! Oh, missed one beauty out. You know roads, yeah, those things that have been about since before christ? Yeah, you don't get any. So you trucks just use pathing, and make dirt tracks everywhere! How cool is that? Eeer. Ok. Luckily I bought it on sale, with the trains expansion. So it was still £30 and its not a 30 quid game, not even close. An expansion while in early access is taking the proverbial to. Will keep an eye on it just in case it gets better but, for now, it can go in the waste of money list of games.

locking Electric locomotive (tiers 1 & 2), Fire-less steam locomotive (tier 1), Gas turbine locomotive (tier 2), Nuclear locomotive (tier 3), Molten materials wagon and station, a basic features i would expect to be in modern city/ factory builder not something left behind paywall, not good
