Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's nice to have a collection of a lot of great (and some not-so-great) arcade collections, but it is done in the most cash grabby way possible. There are some absolute gems in here like the 19XX series, some classic Street Fighter, Final Fight, etc. Controls are good, difficulty levels, speed, rewind, save state all work great. The various challenges to try and beat are pretty good. I would say it passes the "just as good as emulation" test I would normally apply to these, but they run pretty inefficiently. Also, you can disable the arcade console-view that comes default and play them on a black background. At first I thought you couldn't, and that would make the tone of this review very different! The "cash grab" accusation comes from the paid DLC for everything - buying the games individually adds up cost, but paying for an invincibility cheat is a bit much!
Final Rating: 8/10

Introduction
Capcom Arcade Stadium is a retro compilation that brings together some of Capcom’s most iconic arcade games from the 1980s and 1990s. Offering a nostalgic journey through classic titles, the collection features favorites like Street Fighter II, Ghouls 'n Ghosts, and 1943: Battle of Midway. With updated features and modern enhancements, this collection aims to cater to both old-school fans and newcomers looking to experience arcade history.
Gameplay and Features
The compilation includes 32 games, divided into three separate packs based on their release years: 1984-1988, 1989-1992, and 1992-2001. Each game retains its original arcade mechanics, offering a mix of beat 'em ups, shooters, and fighting games. The classic gameplay has been preserved, capturing the authentic arcade experience with its challenging difficulty and fast-paced action. New features like rewind, save states, and adjustable difficulty settings make these old-school games more accessible, allowing players to overcome their steep learning curves. The rewind feature, in particular, is helpful for mastering difficult sections without the frustration of starting over.
Presentation and Graphics
Capcom Arcade Stadium uses a virtual arcade cabinet presentation, allowing players to choose different viewing modes, including scanlines and CRT filters that replicate the look of classic arcade screens. The games have been faithfully emulated, with smooth performance and crisp visuals that maintain the original pixel art’s charm. The nostalgic aesthetic is enhanced by the customizable display options, making each title feel like a true arcade experience. The collection also features a dynamic UI, with each game’s cabinet and marquee art adding a touch of authenticity. The visual enhancements breathe new life into these classics while respecting their original design.
Game Selection and Variety
The lineup offers a good mix of genres, from fighting games like Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting to side-scrolling action games like Strider and shoot 'em ups like 1941: Counter Attack. While many of the included titles are iconic, the selection also includes some lesser-known gems that will be a pleasant surprise for fans of retro gaming. However, not all games are available in the base collection; players can purchase additional packs or the full bundle to access the complete library. This piecemeal approach may feel restrictive to some, as iconic games like Street Fighter II are only available in specific packs, potentially limiting the experience for those who don’t want to buy the entire set.
Accessibility and Modern Enhancements
The addition of modern features such as save states, rewind, and speed adjustments makes the compilation more accessible, especially for players who might struggle with the high difficulty of classic arcade games. These features allow for a more forgiving experience, letting players enjoy the titles without the frustration of losing progress. The online leaderboards also add a competitive edge, letting players compare high scores globally.
Multiplayer Experience
Many of the included games feature local co-op or versus modes, which retain the fun, competitive spirit of arcade gaming. Local multiplayer works smoothly, capturing the social element of classic arcades. However, the collection lacks online multiplayer, which is a missed opportunity, as it could have added replay value and connected players worldwide.
Technical Performance
Capcom Arcade Stadium runs smoothly across all platforms, with minimal issues. The emulation quality is excellent, faithfully reproducing the original gameplay. The game’s interface is user-friendly, and the transition between games is quick, allowing for an uninterrupted experience. The visual filters and display options perform well without affecting frame rates, even on the Nintendo Switch.
Replayability and Time Commitment
With 32 games to choose from, the collection offers substantial replayability, particularly for fans of retro games. The variety of genres ensures there’s something for everyone, and the addition of new features makes revisiting these classics enjoyable. However, the difficulty of some games may deter casual players, as many titles remain as challenging as they were in their original arcade releases. The leaderboard system adds an incentive for score-chasers, but the lack of online multiplayer limits the social replay value.
Conclusion
Capcom Arcade Stadium is a well-crafted compilation that celebrates Capcom’s arcade legacy, delivering a faithful and nostalgic experience with modern enhancements. The selection of games, along with the customizable display options and accessibility features, make it an appealing package for both retro enthusiasts and new players. While the piecemeal content approach and lack of online multiplayer are drawbacks, the overall experience is a fun and engaging tribute to classic arcade gaming. Pros: - Faithful emulation of classic Capcom arcade games. - Modern features like rewind, save states, and visual filters. - Wide variety of games and genres, from beat 'em ups to shooters. - Nostalgic presentation with virtual arcade cabinet aesthetics. Cons: - Piecemeal game selection may feel restrictive. - No online multiplayer support. - Some games may be too difficult for casual players.
Final Rating: 8/10
Capcom Arcade Stadium is a nostalgic and enjoyable collection that offers a great way to experience Capcom’s arcade classics. Despite a few missed opportunities, the compilation delivers a polished package with plenty of content, making it a must-play for fans of retro gaming.
