Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront features the Eastern Front and its “Great Patriotic War” fought between the USSR and Germany. This RTS will take you from June 1941 until the end of the war in May 1945.
Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront offers a choice of game modes including Singleplayer, dynamic campaign, PvE, PvP and co-op.
With its instantly switchable views, there’s something for every type of player. First person gunner views for all vehicles, third person views for vehicles and infantry, classic top-down direct control of a single unit or classic RTS top-down; they are all available and instantly switchable.
Conquest (dynamic campaign) mode offers singleplayer and co-op modes to play with your friends. Both modes allow you to compose your own army group, research new units and strategically advance in different paths to dominate the battlefield. The dynamic campaign can range from short to unlimited campaign lengths.
PvP/PvE offers a wide variety of maps from 1v1 to 4v4, and the use of “Doctrines”. These allow you to choose your own special units that fit your individual playstyle. The stage of the war (Early/Mid/Late) can be selected, to experience the evolution of equipment and vehicles as the conflict progressed.
Single player campaigns take place at historical locations, painstakingly recreated and immersive as hell.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm in two minds whether to recommend this or not. On one hand the detail is fantastic, the units are varied and have had a lot of time spent on their uniforms and loadouts, there are literally hundreds of units to choose from and call in or unlock. The Dynamic Conquest is brilliant, essentially being a deck builder paired with the RTS gameplay. One of the things that separates this game from other similar ones is the ability to take control of units directly via either the traditional top down view, or a third person view that brins you down to the unit's level. Sound and graphics are really good, while the in game music does get repetitive the sound effects (aside from the British voices) are great. Speaking of the Commonwealth faction they are locked behind some pricey DLC. The voice lines for each soldier seem to be cut from different takes and mashed together as in the campaign a unit will often start talking in one accent and finish in another, it really is terrible and goes against the attention to detail placed in other areas of the game. The biggest bugbear for me is the AI, quite frequently your artillery will ♥♥♥♥ around and face the wrong way or just flat out ignore an order you give it leading to them swiftly dying. The same with tanks who unless you control them yourself will happily show their weak side and rear armour toward enemies. The AI don't seem to play by the same rules, they have unlimited ammunition by default, and they don't have any sort of logistics coded into them whatsoever, so I'm unsure if that's fixable with mods. You can use a smoke grenade to obscure the enemy unit's view, but the hive mind system means if any of their other units can see you then the concealed unit will still hit you with pinpoint accuracy as if the smoke isn't even there. Mortars and artillery are especially annoying as they will continually hit you with their unlimited ammunition and uncanny accuracy. Also in Dynamic Conquest every single match plays the same for me. If you're on offence you call recon in first, scout around, make contact with the enemy, if they have a mortar or artillery I use a sniper and hope I can de-crew it before it obliterates me. If they don't have any artillery or a mortar then you can just mow their infantry down as instead of using any tactical awareness they just blob their infantry together for no reason. I have looked into it and there are mods that reduce the amount of artillery the enemy uses but the sight system and the other complaints such as the perfect accuracy and blobbing meat shield infantry cannot be fixed I don't think. It can be fun in small bursts especially if you're into WW2, just don't expect any deep tactical gameplay unless you're playing PvP.
