Call of Cthulhu®

The first half of the game was amazing and got me hooked but somewhere around chapter 8 it starts getting weird and the pacing crumbles It doesnt really get better I would give a mixed review if I could but its getting a thumbs up because the start was really well executed anyway grab it on a sale for cheap - its about 8 hours long

Bought this on sale thinking it was more like Sinking City which was released in 2019. Even though this game was released 2018 the graphics and gameplay isn't exactly what I'd call top tier. There's neither that much to interact with or choices compared to other similar games that old. Controls and overall gameplay can feel a bit wonky too. Story is good though. Giving this a thumbs up for those who're into the Cthulhu mythos, but wouldn't buy this unless it's on sale.

Nice story driven game, leads you down the path but allows you to follow it somewhat how you chose. Interesting stories, and characters that engage you and keep you searching for answers. The setting is cool and sometimes gory, feels like you are jumping into a Lovecraft mystery.
