Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Brings me back to the good old point and click adventures of my childhood.
As Steam doesn't allow for a "mixed" rating, take this review as such. For a long time, my perception of this game was severely skewed by the ATROCIOUS Italian version - look it up, its dub is something that must be heard to be believed. I also didn't know of its connection to Shadow of the Comet because I came to know and appreciate that game at a later date, but also because Prisoner of Ice deliberately does not reveal such a connection until its second half. That said, it's not as good as its predecessor and, even when judged on its own, it's not a great game. The production values are higher but also less consistent: really beautiful backgrounds - back when it was released, I recall reading that many were painted with acrylics and then digitized - clash with 3D-rendered characters that look awkward and have aged badly. As there are occasional cutscenes made with finely animated 2D close-ups, the contrast is even more jarring. The same goes for some 3D-rendered cutscenes. Worst of all are the "Prisoners": those monsters aren't scary at all, even more so in close-ups. It's not just them—the biggest loss is in terms of atmosphere, as there is not much compared to SotC. The second section of the game seems more concerned with playing antics on British soldiers and officers, and the involvement of Nazis almost inevitably makes things feel even more Indiana Jones–like. Characters are much less, erm, characterized here. It thankfully has a simple and much more convenient mouse interface, one that highlights interactable objects when hovering the cursor over them, but that doesn't save it from several instances of pixel hunting (remember, there is a book among books). Some puzzles are simple, a few even fairly clever, while others require leaps of logic. The overall story is very interesting and picks up a lot over the second half, which saves Prisoner of Ice from being a bust, but Infogrames certainly didn't deliver a follow-up that measured up to the previous cult classic. Of note is that while the store page trailer features the classic Infogrames logo, the game here is the American version that opens with "I-Motion" (same iconic armadillo, just a different name), a brand Infogrames was trying out there years before acquiring the Atari name.

A fun play on a hot day :BUDlove:
Típica aventura gráfica de la época, ya en su momento la jugué, pero no recordaba absolutamente nada. Si eres nostálgico la recomiendo, pero es algo durilla en cuando a game play. Muy de los 90.
excellent , par contre un bug en fin de jeu qui m'a bloqué un bon moment . impossible de prendre le pied de biche dans le chariot se trouvant dans la pièce où se trouve la lave.
I had this game from a '95 collection and enjoyed it as a super casual one. Then again, it was competing with Broken Sword, so it's a technical KO. If you happen to speak spanish, just try putting the voice in spanish. You'll either absolutely hate it or die of laughter like me.
