Cafe Business Manager

Very good game, just have a few hours but i see so much potential within it. Great gameplay, love all the different products it offers, such a great variety of cafés that you can build and pretty challenging (at least at the realistic difficulty). Can't wait to see how it keeps growing!

So I have played a lot of these games and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by this game. Firstly the ability to build and remake your cafe as you see fit makes the gameplay very interesting, the mechanics are similar to that of the sims so does not take much to get use to, there are sum annoying bug/limits which need some sorting but in general is fine and works well. For the actual "Cafe" gameplay it starts simple making coffee's, the mechanics to make drinks is rather simple and the focus on the game is more on the managing your staff and optimising layouts that it is on the making the food and drinks. very much like Rimworld you tend to watch from the corner of the room as your minions do the work and you slowly fine tune there jobs and working hours to maximise there usage. at later stages you unlock burgers and pizza and your little coffee shop becomes more of a trucker cafe, however what I like most of this is that you are not forced to add in these new foods and drinks. as you progress you chose when you want to incorporate the new foods and drinks into your menu, a menu which you can create set menus for the time of the day, this is a really nice touch as my little cafe has a breakfast menu serving cakes, coffee and orange juice in the morning with a few members of staff working, and then later on in the day we start serving burgers and ice cream when my full fleet of minions are on call. the staff you can upgrade as they are with you, but the only skill that feels impactful is the one that lets them do more jobs, but also beyond 5 jobs does not seem worth while. the skill to make the faster takes them from a slow don't want to be working walk to a chirpy enjoying the day walk. would like to see a bit more of an effect or other more useful skills such as multitasking as currently they can only make one coffee at a time and will stand at the machine watching it take its time instead of grabbing that donut while the machine does its job. the driving is silly but I guess its not a game for that, it works but feels like your always driving on ice, the map is nice but nothing yet to explore or do away from your cafe unless you want to take advantage of the bulk store which sells everything at discount rather than have a drone deliver things to the road near your cafe for full price. Overall yeah the game needs some work but most of my main issues are on there plan for future updates, but the base game seems very nice and has some rather interesting mechanics, I am oddly hopeful for this game as I feel this can be a really good cafe sim that I have been searching for, currently the price is £13 which for what you get I feel is reasonable in its current state. keeping this one installed and will watch eagerly for updates!
