Overall i would give this positive review if only because you can uppercut lions and war elephants as caesar while a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥' metal soundtrack plays in the background. You need some pretty thick nostalgia glasses to enjoy the visuals, the weapon models look good and the gore has nice effects, but more than Doom the game kinda looks like a Might and Magic 6 demake. The game contains 3 episodes and I would rate them: Episode 1: Standard retro shooter map design, you need to get acquainted to the game's unique quirks and mechanics to get through the levels. Episode 2: Every level is a coin-toss between being an epic fight or an absolute pain in the ass gimmick-level Episode 3: It's all Plutonia Experiment. Level design by satan himself. There's a couple of cool sequence here and there, but ♥♥♥♥ is it sadistic.
