Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 2 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Bye Sweet Carole is a captivating cinematic adventure that merges the warmth of classic fairy tales with the creeping unease of psychological horror. Developed by Little Sewing Machine and published by Maximum Entertainment, the game embraces a distinctive artistic identity built around hand-drawn animation that evokes the charm of traditional animated films while gradually introducing darker and more unsettling themes. Rather than depending on relentless scares, it creates suspense through its mysterious atmosphere, emotionally driven storytelling, and beautifully crafted environments that constantly invite players to uncover the truth hidden beneath their enchanting surface. Every frame demonstrates an impressive level of craftsmanship, making the game feel as though an animated feature has been transformed into an interactive experience. The narrative follows Lana Benton, a determined young girl investigating the mysterious disappearance of her closest friend, Carole Simmons. Her search begins within the walls of the ominous Bunny Hall orphanage before expanding into the fantastical realm of Corolla, a world filled with magical creatures, dangerous secrets, and unforgettable personalities. Inspired by early twentieth-century England during the suffragette movement, the setting offers an unusual historical backdrop that adds texture to its fantasy elements without overshadowing the central mystery. Along the way, Lana encounters allies and enemies whose motivations gradually reveal themselves, encouraging players to piece together a larger story involving loss, corruption, and the blurred line between dreams and nightmares. The game's writing effectively balances emotional moments with unsettling discoveries, ensuring the mystery remains compelling throughout the adventure. Exploration serves as the foundation of the gameplay, blending platforming, environmental puzzles, stealth mechanics, and survival elements into a cohesive journey. Players are encouraged to observe their surroundings carefully, searching for clues and hidden pathways while avoiding dangerous enemies that cannot always be confronted directly. One of the game's most inventive mechanics allows Lana to transform into a rabbit, opening alternate routes and providing creative solutions to environmental challenges that would otherwise remain inaccessible. This ability becomes an integral part of exploration rather than a simple novelty, giving each area multiple layers of interaction. The steady introduction of new obstacles and puzzle concepts helps maintain engagement, while the emphasis on tension instead of action reinforces the game's atmospheric identity. Visually, Bye Sweet Carole is exceptional. Its hand-animated characters move with remarkable fluidity, and each environment is packed with artistic detail that reflects both innocence and hidden menace. The contrast between whimsical storybook imagery and unsettling horror elements is handled with confidence, allowing seemingly comforting locations to gradually transform into places filled with uncertainty and dread. Lighting, color palettes, and expressive character animation all contribute to a memorable visual style that stands apart from many modern indie adventures. Complementing the artwork is a carefully composed soundtrack that transitions effortlessly between gentle orchestral themes and haunting melodies, strengthening the emotional impact of key story moments while heightening suspense during exploration. What ultimately makes Bye Sweet Carole memorable is its commitment to atmosphere and storytelling over spectacle. The game rewards patience by gradually revealing its mysteries through exploration and environmental storytelling rather than overwhelming players with exposition. While those seeking fast-paced combat may find its deliberate pacing slower than expected, players who appreciate narrative-focused adventures, puzzle solving, and immersive world-building will likely find its approach deeply satisfying. The combination of fairy tale inspiration, psychological horror, and elegant presentation creates a unique experience that confidently establishes its own identity instead of merely following familiar genre conventions. Bye Sweet Carole succeeds as both an artistic achievement and a compelling adventure. Little Sewing Machine has crafted a world that is visually enchanting yet emotionally unsettling, while Maximum Entertainment has helped deliver a title that blends traditional animation, suspenseful exploration, and heartfelt storytelling into a polished package. Although some gameplay mechanics remain intentionally restrained to support the narrative, the game's exceptional presentation, memorable setting, and engaging mystery more than compensate. For players looking for an atmospheric adventure that values emotion, imagination, and mystery as much as gameplay, Bye Sweet Carole stands as one of the more distinctive releases in its genre. I honestly don't even regret buying this game, i've played similar 2D games but this one is different, it almost feels like im just watching some old disney cartoon about a princess, the characters are amazing, the villain too, Mr. Kyn is such a cool villain, Baesie is also a pretty fun character, i like him so much and all the characters are unique at some point, the narrator describes everything so well it actually makes you feel more immersed into the story. i’ve seen quite a few people complaining about controls being weird, can’t complain about that because i played on a controller which game actually suggests to play on for better experience, overall you should definetly check this game out. EDIT: Now that i completed this game, i can confidently say i loved every second of this, in my opinion the game was perfect, the story, the characters, the beaautiful and i mean BEAUTIFUL hand-drawing style just like from old disney animated cartoons, i loved the story so much it even made me sob little at the end, heck im sobbing right now man, this game is so good. yea sometimes i was not that smart for these puzzles and i've been stuck on some of them for quite long, other than that i reccomend this game. It's that type of game that you'll buy and you think it'll be just another completed game in your library, but not in my case, i'll remeber this game and this beautiful story. 9.5/10 game in my opinion for sure
I LOVE THIS GAMEEEE I LOVE THE DESIGN THE ART WORK IS AMAZINGGGGG WORTH MY MONEYYYY
This game for one is not only visualy beautiful, but the writers writing skills and ability to tell such a serious and moving story is a Disney like theme is amazing. I highly reccomend this game if you like games that have small puzzles you have to figure out as well as following a story. In a way it is like life is strange (the first one) where (as max) you have to let things to play out, rewind and then let it play out again. However decisions (which there arent any) dont change the course of the story. Also be prepared to cry at the end, aswell as dont feel stupid if you have to look up how to do certain parts because i know i did. Overall i highly recommend this game, it was so beautiful and had such a strong message, this is my favourite game i have played so far this year. The only negative i can say is that the ending felt a tad rushed and just not fufilling to the rest of the story, some things werent abundatnly clear when trying to understand the story aswell, but they may just had been me
very well put together. Excellent story telling that gets right into the gritty and ugliness of us all. Also a good game for someone who wants to grind out achievements to 100% a game. A few jump scares for the scardy cats like myself too.
