This guy has consumed only god-tier media and he's formed that ♥♥♥♥ into a golden core in the alchemical cauldron that is his gamer body. I feel like I'm watching an understated, artsy anime in between rounds of cosmic horror Bloons. I need this man to have a budget and a dozen lackeys so I can see this kind of thing with more gas. I am so impressed, hell yeah
really cool ass game and just somewhat fun going around and exploring even if theres little to nothing
Truly a unique experience and such a hidden gem. No game is like that.

It's been almost a year since I played through this game, and I still caught myself thinking about it randomly just now. That's how memorable it is. From the made up language, to the story, the spells, and the movement. God, the movement! It's not immediately clear how much of a thing that is, and it its admittedly down to playstyle a fair bit, but chaining gyromantia together to go fast and/or high is where the most joy lay for me. That my mastery of mobility gets rewarded in fights too is awesome! Your walking artillery pet is also unique as heck. Do not rush through the main story right away. It takes one tower to do that, but there are many places to build one. I recommend building all, or perhaps as many as you feel like. Not that I managed to finish all of them, some are purposely extremely hard. If anything about the visuals belies the level of polish the game has, don't be fooled – when you play it, the game will show you how much really went into every detail. Wait, they added stuff while I was gone? Hell yeah, time for a second playthrough!
Ever wish there was an open world Brutal-Legend-style tower defense game that looked like a cross between Morrowind and Killer 7? Yeah, me neither. That's a weird thing to ask for. Excellent characters, unique but intuitive gameplay (although I wish they did more with the height advantage gimmick), and a good-enough localization come together to deliver an experience literally like no other. I bought this at full price and it feels about right for what I got. Maybe even a little cheap.
This game just feels really good to play. The movement is incredibly satisfying and the spells look cool and feel impactful. I found that most of the spells felt useful throughout my playthrough. I would honestly love to play a game that focused on just combat with this character. I also really enjoyed exploring the world, especially before I unlocked the better mobility spells. Barely making jumps to reach an item on a ledge or a tower was very satisfying. The world is visually striking in a unique way, I ended up taking a lot of screenshots while playing. I'm definitely going to be keeping up with this developer in the future, I'm very impressed.
When you face the true boss,

, you do 9999 damage to charge up a final attack that does 1/

damage. Every character is voiced and speaks 'Cargrish'. An unrepeatable game.
Amazing and compelling characters surrounded by a competent combat system, a driving narrative, and a beautiful (if empty) world. A real triumph for such a small team, thank you.
