It’s hilarious, weirdly heartfelt, and way more mechanically deep than it has any right to be. You’re not just running around causing trouble (though you absolutely can, and should). You’re building your own scrappy empire from the streets up—collecting, crafting, dumpster‑diving, befriending pigeons, unlocking absurd abilities, and discovering that the world is full of strange characters who are somehow even more unhinged than you are. The humor lands, the missions are fun, and the freedom to approach situations however you want makes every session feel like a new story. One minute you’re brewing questionable beverages, the next you’re launching pigeons like feathery missiles, and somehow it all feels perfectly natural. If you enjoy sandbox games with personality, comedy that doesn’t punch down, and the kind of emergent nonsense that makes you laugh out loud at 2 AM, this is absolutely worth your time. It’s janky in the charming way, not the frustrating way, and the devs clearly poured love into every bizarre corner of the map. Bum Simulator is chaotic, creative, surprisingly cozy, and endlessly entertaining. Highly recommended.
